Abstract:
Harran Ovası'nda toplam 7 464 hektar alana sahip İmambakır Sulama Birliği alanı sahip olduğu yüksek taban suyu nedeniyle tuzlulaşma problemi ile karşılaşmaktadır. Sulama öncesi de taban suyu sorunu bulunan sulama birliğinin bazı alanlarında tuzluluk şiddeti artış göstermektedir. Bazı bölgelerde meydana gelen şiddetli seviyelerdeki tuzluluk değerleri bitki verimini azaltmaktadır. Yapılan bu çalışmayla farklı tuzluluk seviyelerinde, yetişen pamuk tarlalarından 3 derinlikten (kök bölgesi) ve pamuk gelişim dönemi olan Temmuz, Ağustos, Eylül ve Ekim aylarında alınan örneklerle değerlendirilmiştir. Seçilen çalışma alanlarında pamuğun yetişme periyodundaki gelişimi, topraktaki tuz değişimi, çiftçi uygulamaları ve verimi takip edilmiştir. Uzaktan algılama teknolojileri ile seçilen örnek alanlarındaki bilgiler kullanılarak toplam sulama birliğindeki durum NDVI metodu ile tahmin edilebilmektedir. Yapılan çalışmada farklı tuzluluk değerlerine sahip toprak analiz ve pamuk verim değerleri uydu verileriyle ilişkilendirilerek İmambakır Sulama Alanı için pamuk verim tahmini yapılmıştır. Uydu teknolojisi verileri ile yer verilerinin ilişkilendirilmesinde Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemi (CBS) teknikleri kullanılarak farklı yer, harita ve uydu verileri ilişkilendirilerek geniş alanlardaki uygulanabilirliği araştırılmıştır.
Imambakır irrigation association which has an area of 7.464 hectares of land in Harran plain, has been facing with the high water table and the salinity problems. Especially the intensity of the salinity has become rather high in the areas where the water table was a problem before. The quality of crop decreases rapidly at the certain areas where there is intense salinity values. Within this study, the evaluation has been done through the samples collected from the different salinity levels of cotton fields of three depths (root part) in the growing period of cotton in July, August, September and October. The development of growing cotton, the salinity change in the soil, farmer practices and the fertility has been followed in the referred study fields. The case in the total irrigation association can be estimated with NDVI method by using the data referred by remote sensing. Within this study, the determination of different salinity levels of soil and farmer practices to the fertility of cotton by being related with the satellite data have been estimated for Imambakır irrigation association. The applicability of this study in the large fields has been searched by using the satellite data technology being related with the earth data , Geographical Information System (GIS) different places, map and satellite data.
