İbn Kesîr'in nüzûl sebeplerini değerlendirmesi / Ibn Kathir analysis of Asbab Al-nüzul

Abstract

Bu tez, giris ile iki bölümden olusmaktadır. Giris kısmında esbâb-ı nüzûlün tanımı, esbâb-ı nüzûlü bilmenin önemi, onu bildiren lafızlar ve esbâb-ı nüzûlün tarihselligi üzerinde durulmustur. Daha sonra bn Kesîr'in hayatı, ilmî sahsiyeti ve eserlerinden kısaca bahsedilmistir. Birinci bölümün ilk kısmında, bn Kesîr'in esbâb-ı nüzûl rivayetlerini takdim tarzlarının, ikinci kısmında ise bu rivayetlerin isnadında izledigi yöntemin tespitine çalısılmıstır. kinci bölümün birinci kısmını ?bn Kesîr Tefsirinde Nüzûl Sebebi Rivayetlerinin Kaynakları? konusu olusturmaktadır. Bu kısımda onun basvurdugu tefsir ve hadis kaynakları sıralanmıstır. kinci kısım ise bn Kesîr'in nüzûl sebebi rivayetlerini kabulünde esas aldıgı ölçülerin belirlenmesine tahsis edilmistir. This thesis consists of two chapters and an introduction. In the Introduction, the definition of the term asbab al-nuzul (the reasons or accasions led to the revelation of certain verses), the importance o the knowledge about asbab al-nuzul, the terms indicating it and the subject of historicity of asbab alnuzul are dealt with. The life of Ibn Kathir and his works and his position in Islamic sciences are also mentioned. In the first part of first chapter, Ibn Kathir?s method in his presentation of the transmisssion of asbab al-nuzul is analyzed while in the second part, his method concerning the chain of these transmissions is examined. In the first part of second chapter, the issue of ?The sources of the transmissions about the occasion or reasons led to the revelation in the Commentary of Ibn Kathir? is discussed. In this section, the hadith works and commentary boks used by Ibn Kathir are listed. In the second part of this chapter, the criteria used by Ibn Kathir in his analysis of the validity of the transmissions related to the conditions of the revelation are explained.
