Abstract:
20. yüzy l n ikinci yar s nda üretimin h zla geli mesi, beraberinde sanayinin temel girdisi olan malzeme biliminde de geli melerin h zlanmas n sa lam t r. Kompozit malzemeler, sa lad klar avantajlar ve uygulama alanlar ndaki çe itlilik dolay s ile bugün imalat sektöründe önemli bir yer i gal etmektedir. Mühendisli in her alan nda çok yönlü olarak kullan lan kompozit malzemelerin üretimi hayli önem arz etmektedir. Bu çal mada, metal ve polimer esasl kompozit malzemelerin üretim metotlar , bu metotlar n karakteristik baz özellikleri, avantaj ve dezavantajlar ara t r lm olup polimer ve metal matrisli kompozit malzeme üretimi yapabilecek olan bir düzene in tasar m ve imalat gerçekle tirilmi tir. %lk olarak ya bas nc ile çal an, tek tesirli, 500 mm stroka sahip % 85 verimle çal acak olan 250 bar ve 200 ton kapasiteli bir hidrolik presin tasar m yap lm t r. Pres tasar m için ihtiyaç duyulan kuvvet, bas nç ve güç kayna gibi kriterler tespit edilerek, gerekli olan piston çap , piston boyu, elektrik motorunun ve hidrolik pompan n gücü, ya tank n n kapasitesi, emme ve basma borular n n çaplar hesaplar neticesinde belirlenmi tir. Daha sonra tasar m yap lan presin alt ve üst çenelerine, dizayn ve imalat gerçekle tirilen ve bu çal man n en önemli k sm n olu turan s kal plar yerle tirilmi tir. %zolasyonu için s ya ve bas nca dayan kl olan amyant malzemesi kullan lan s kal plar n n malzemesi çelik olup 400 x 300 x 40 mm ebatlar ndad r. Is kal plar n maksimum 600 oC kadar s tacak her biri 500 Watt gücünde olan 12 tane krom - nikel çubuk rezistans kullan lm t r. Bunun yan s ra kal plar n n s cakl n kontrol edecek olan termokupul, dijital termostat ve kontaktör kullan lm t r. Üretimi yap lan düzenek ile metal ve polimer malzemelerin de i ik kombinasyonlar nda olu an kompozit malzemeler ba ar yla üretilmi tir.
Rapid advances in the production techniques in the second half of 20 Century, speed up the development of the science material which is the main parameter of industry. Today composite materials have an important place in manufacture sector because of their advantage and variety of application fields. The production of composite materials that used in all engineering districts is very important. In this study, the characteristic properties, advantages and disadvantages of production techniques of polymer and metal matrix composites are explored and then a device capable of producing polymer and metal matrix composite materials is designed and manufactured. At first, the hydraulic press working with oil pressure with % 85 productivity, single effective with 500 mm stroke, having 250 bar and 200 tone capacity, is designed. By obtaining the necessary force, pressure and power supply for the hydraulic press; the required piston diameter and length, power of engine and hydraulic pump, capacity of oil tank, diameter of intake and press pipes have been determined. Afterwards, the thermal dies which are the most important part of this study attached to the lower and upper jaws of the hydraulic press device. For isolation, asbestos materials durable to the heat and pressure, are used, thermal dies have a dimension of 300 x 400 x 40 mm. 12 pieces chrome - nickel resistant wire each has 500 Watt power are used to warm up thermal dies up to 600 oC. Besides a thermocouple, a digital thermostat and contactor are used to control the temperature of the device. By means of this appliance, polymer and metal matrix composites have been produced in the different combinations with a great success.
