SOL-JEL YÖNTEMİYLE İNDİYUM KALAY OKSİT (ITO) İNCE FİLM ÜRETİMİ Esra PALALI ÖZET Saydam iletken olan indiyum kalay oksit filmler elektro-optiksel davranışlarından dolayı çok ilgi çekmektedirler. ITO ince filmler, yüksek optiksel geçirgenliğe, kızılötesi yansıtıcılığa ve iyi elektriksel iletkenliğe sahiptirler. Bu özellikler ITO ince filmleri, elektrokromik camlar, gaz sensörleri, fotovoltaik cihazlar, ısı yansıtıcı aynalar ve saydam elektrotlar olarak kullanılmasına neden olmuştur. Saydam iletken ITO ince filmler, püskürtme, reaktif çökertme, kimyasal buhar yolu ile çökertme ve sol-jel gibi çeşitli metotlarla hazırlanmıştır. Bu yöntemler arasında sol-jel yöntemi diğer metotlar ile karşılaştırıldığında her yüzeye rahatlıkla kaplama yapılabilir olmasından dolayı daha kullanışlıdır. PREPARATION OF INDIUM TIN OXIDE (ITO) THIN FILMS BY USING THE SOL-GEL METHOD Esra PALALI SUMMARY Indium tin oxide (ITO) films as transparent conductors have caused a great deal of interest due to their prominent electro-optical behavior. ITO films have high luminous transmittance, high infrared reflectance and good electrical conductivity . Those properties have made ITO thin films applied as electrochromic windows, gas sensors, photovoltaic devices, heat reflecting mirrors, and transparent electrodes. Transparent conductive ITO films have been prepared by a variety of methods, such as sputtering, reactive evaporation, chemical vapor deposition, and the sol-gel process. Among those, the sol-gel process is very useful for the films preparation due to coating on the desired shape and equipment when compared with other methods. Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films have been deposited onto glass substrates by sol-gel process. The electrical, optical and structural properties of ITO thin films have been investigated.
