Abstract:
AROMATİK DİAMİNLER TEMELİNDE TETRADENTAT SALİSİLALDİMİNLERİN Cu(II) VE Co(II) KOMPLEKSLERİNİN SENTEZİ, KİNETİK, SPEKTRAL VE ELEKTROKİMYASAL ÖZELLİKLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ Ömer KAPLAN ÖZET Bu çalışmada 3,5-di-tert-butil-2-hidroksibenzaldehit ile 1,2-bis-(o- aminofenoksi)etan, 1,4-bis-(o-aminofenoksi)bütan, 1,4-bis-(m-amino fenoksi)bütan, ve 1,4-bis-(p-amino fenoksi)bütan aminlerinden şekillenen Schiff bazı ligandı ile Cu(II) ve Co(II) komplekslerinin sentezi, spektroskopik karakterizasyonu ve oksidasyon davranışları incelendi. Ligand ve komplekslerin yapılarını açıklamada, elementel analiz, FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR ve 13 C-NMR Spektrumu, magnetik süsseptibilite, termogravimetrik Analiz (TGA) ve voltametri kullanıldı.Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda Cu(II)' nin ligantların tümüyle, Co(II) iyonlarının sadece iki tane ligantla kompleks oluşturduğu bulunmuştur. Cu(II) komplekslerinin CHCl3, DMSO ve DMF çözücülerinde alınan elektronik spektral değerlerine dayanarak bozuk tetrahedral yapıda olduğu söylenilebilir. Co(II) komplekslerinin elektronik spektrumları onların çözücü molekülleri ile koordinasyona girerek tetrahedral geometrili katılma solvatlar oluşturduğu söylenebilir. Manyetik süsseptibilite ölçmeleri kobalt(II) komplekslerinin tetrahedral yapıda olduğunu göstermektedir. IR çalışmaları komplekslerde merkez Co(II) atomun ligantlarla onların O ve N atomları üzerinden bağlandığını ve bütün komplekslerin koordine olmuş su molekülleri içerdiğini göstermiştir. Co(II) komplekslerinin CHCl3, DMSO ve DMF çözücülerinde alınan elektronik spektral değerlere dayanarak onların çözücü molekülleri ile pentakoordine veya hekzakoordine katılma kompleksleri olusturduğu söylenilebilir. 53
SYNTHESIS, SPECTROSCOPIC AND ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF SAME METAL COMPLEXES ON THE BASIS OF TETRADENTATE SALCYLALDIMINES DERIVED FROM AROMATIC DIAMINES Ömer KAPLAN SUMMARY In this study we report the synthesis, spectroscopic, characterization and oxidation behaviour of the Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes from Schiff Bases formed from 3,5- di-tert-butyl-2-hidroxybenzaldehyde (3,5-DTB) and 1,2-bis-(o- aminophenoxy)ethane, 1,4-bis-(o-aminophenoxy)butane, 1,4-bis-(m- aminophenoxy)buthane and 1,4-bis-(p-aminophenoxy)butane compounds.. On the basis of electronic spectral data recorded in CHCl3, DMF and DMSO, the Cu(II) complexes have a distorted tetrahedral geometry in above solvents. The electronic spectra of the Co(II) complexes indicate that the solvent molecules are coordinated with metal ions giving tetrahedral adduct complexes. According electronic spectral data recorded in CHCl3, DMF and DMSO Cu(II) complexes have a distorted tetrahedral geometry in these solvents. Manyetic susseptibility measurements indicate taht one Co(II) complexs displays tetrahedral geometry, IR studies indacate that in all complexes the central Co(II) atom via their O and N atoms, coordinated with ligands and all complexes have coordinated H2O molecules. Accordinig to the electronic spectral data of the Co(II) complexes obtained in the CHCl3, DMSO and DMF solvents it can be suggest that these complexes are coordinated with solvent molecules forming pentacoordinated or hexacoordinated adducts compounds. 54
