Adıyaman yöresindeki koyun ve keçilerde brucellozis'in seroprevalansının araştırılması / Was performed to investigate the seroprevalence of ovine and caprine brucellozisis in adiyaman region

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışma; Adıyaman yöresinde koyun ve keçilerde brucellosisin seroprevalansının araştırılması amaçıyla yapıldı.. Bu çalışmada, ELISA kitleri kullanıldı. Toplam 272 serum örneği analiz edildi. 199 koyundan 92(%46,23)'si ve 77 keçiden 34(%44,15)'ünde, 158 erkek hayvandan 70(%44,3)'inde, 118 dişi hayvandan 26(%47,46)' sında ayrıca; abort yapmış 35 koyundan 27(%77,14)'si ve abort yapmış 16 keçiden 11(%68,75)'inde seropozitiflik tespit edilmiştir. Gerek abort yapmış koyun ve gerekse abort yapmış keçilerdeki seropozitiflik oranları abort yapmayanlara oranla daha yüksek bulundu. Sonuç olarak; Adıyaman yöresinde koyun ve keçilerde brucellozisin önemli ölçüde seropozitif olduğu tespit edildi. Anahtar Kelimeler: Brucellozis, Koyun, Keçi, ELISA. ABSTRACT This study was performed to investigate the seroprevalance of ovine and caprine brucellosis in Adıyaman region. For this study, commmercially available ELISA test kits were used. A total of 272 sera samples were analyzed. 92(%46,23) of 199 sheep and 34(%44,15) of 77 goats were found to be seropositive for brucella antibodies, 70(%44,3) of 158 ram and goats 26(%47,46) of 118 ewe and nanny goats were found to be seropositive 27(%77,14) of 35 aborted ewe, 11(%68,75) of 16 aborted nanny goats were seropositive for the disease. Seropositivity rates in aborted sheep and goats were higher than in non aborted animals. As a result, high brucella seropositivety rates were obtained in sheep and goats in Adıyaman region.
