Abstract:
Sıvılaşma kavramı dünyada ve ülkemizde meydana gelen depremlerin etkisi sonucu gözlenmiştir. Zeminin kayma dayanımını kaybetmesi sonucu küçük kayma gerilmeleri büyük deformasyonlara yol açmakta bu durum zemin üzerindeki yapılarda ağır hasarları meydana getirmektedir. Bu bağlamda, sıvılaşmış ve sıvılaşma meydana gelebilecek zeminin durumu incelenmiştir. Zemin sıvılaşması ve sıvılaşma potansiyeli tahmininde kullanılan fiziki kriterlerle, analiz metodlarıyla (arazi ve laboratuar deneyleriyle) ve irdeleme yöntemleriyle incelenmiştir. Depremlerin ve deprem parametrelerinin sıvılaşmaya etkileri incelenmiş, Adapazarı Depreminde, Adana-Ceyhan Depreminde ve Erzincan Depreminde meydana gelen zemin sıvılaşmaları ve etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Sıvılaşmanın en büyük yıkıcı etkisi, ülkemizde Adapazarı Depreminde (17 Ağustos 1999) meydana gelmiş, bu durum sıvılaşmanın önemini bir kez daha vurgulamıştır. Bu çalışmada, sıvılaşmanın olumsuz etkilerinden korunmak için alınması gereken önlemler detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş, sıvılaşmış zeminlerin iyileştirme yöntemleri ve çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. 95
The liquefaction were observed with effect of sismic shock that occured throughout the world and in our country. As a result of cause of shearing strength of the soil, small shear stres caused big deformations and hazards in the buildings. Therefore the proporties of liquefied soils and those which can be subjected to liquefaction were throughly examined. Liquefaction of the soils were investigated with liquefaction phsysical criteria potential and analyses methods (in stu and laboratory tests) which are used for probable liquefaction potential and research methods.In this context, soil failures, liquefaction areas, liquefied bad thickness, sand and silt compression potential were studied. Sismic activities, the effect of liquefaction on earthquake parameters and soil liquefaction and it?s effects tothe Adapazarı (17 Ağustos 1999) Adana-Ceyhan, Erzincan earthquakes were discussed. The most devastating earthquake caused by liquefaction took place at Adapazarı which emphasized importance of liquefaction. The measures to be taken against and to prevent liquefaction were discussed in detail. In this study, a general evaluation of the liquefaction potential was carried out, the condition of the ground and / or soil after liquefaction and was discussed with possible improvement methods and solutions. 95
