Abstract:
GAP BÖLGESİNİN SOSYO EKONOMİK KALKINMASINDA KADIN İSTİHDAMININ YERİ :ŞANLIURFA ÖRNEĞİ Hatice AZTİMUR Harran Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Şanlıurfa ÖZET Azgelişmiş ülkelerin kalkınmasında istihdamın yeri önemlidir. Kadın istihdamı1970'li yıllardan itibaren değişen üretim ve istihdam modellerine paralel olarak önem kazanmaya başlamıştır. Azgelişmiş ülkelerde kadın işgücü ağırlıklı olarak tarım sektöründe çalışmaktadır. Kadın işgücünün istihdam içindeki oranı ülkelerin kalkınmasında da önem arz etmektedir. Kalkınma, hem ekonomik hem de toplumsal iyileşmenin sağlanması neticesinde ülke refahının artması anlamına gelmektedir. Bu noktada kadınların eğitimleri söz konusu olmaktadır. Kadın işgücü, iyi eğitim olanaklarına sahip olduğu zaman işgücü piyasasındaki değeri artacaktır. Bunun sonucunda ise ekonomiye katkısı tek bir sektörle sınırlı kalmayacaktır. ABSRACT Employment plays an important part in the development of less developed countries. Since 1970's woman labour has become more important in tandem with the changing production and employment models. In less developed communities women generally works in agriculture sector. The ratio of woman labour in overall employment has a great effect on the development of a nation. Development is the increase of nation's wealth as a result of realised economic and also social betterments. Here the education level of women becomes more important. İf woman labour has better education opportunities, then it will be more valueable in the labour market. The result is that the contribution of woman labour will not be limited to one sector.
