Abstract:
Bu çalismada sübstitüe salisilaldehit türevleri (H, Br, NO2 ) ve 2,5-di-tert-bütilanilin temelinde yeni N-aril sübstitüe salisilaldimin ligantlari ve onlarin Cu(II), Pd(II) iyonlari ile kompleksleri sentezlenmistir. Bilesiklerin yapilari elmentel analiz, spektroskopik (IR, UV/Vis, 1 H(13 C)NMR) ve manyetik süsseptibilite teknikleri ile karakterize edilmistir.Yapilan çalismalarda Co(II), Fe(III), Zn(II) iyonlarindan farkli olarak yalnizca Cu(II) ve Pd(II) metal iyonlarinin bütün ligantlar ile kompleks olusturdugu bulunmustur. Cu(II) komplekslerinin DMF, CH2 Cl2 , hekzan, etanol çözücülerinde alinan elektronik spektrum ve manyetik momentum degerlerine dayanarak onlarin bozuk tetrahedral veya karedüzlem yapida oldugu varsayilmistir. Pd(II) komplekslerinin elektronik spektrum degerlerine dayanarak karedüzlem yapida oldugu söylenebilir. Elde edilen komplekslerin bulunan elementel analiz degerleri ile hesaplanan degerleri birbirine oldukça yakindir. Bu da komplekslerin safliginin çok yüksek oldugunu göstermektedir. Elementel analiz sonuçlari komplekslerde metal: ligant oraninin 1:2 oraninda oldugunu dolayisiyla komplekslerin ML2 yapisinda oldugunu göstermektedir. Komplekslerin KBr'de alinan IR spektrumlarinda dikkate deger en önemli degisiklik CH=N gerilme titresiminde gözlenmistir. Ligantlarda imin varligini gösteren 1614-1623 cm- 1 'de gözlenen karakteristik CH=N gerilme titresimi metal selatlarin olusumu sirasinda 1603 - 1609 cm-1 'de ki düsük enerjiye kaymistir. Yani azot atomu sahip oldugu ortaklanmamis elektronlari metal iyonuna vererek metal ile koordinasyona girmistir. Sonuç olarak Sentezlenen Schiff bazlari ile onlarin Cu (II) ve Pd (II) iyonlari arasinda meydana gelen komplekslerde beklenmeyen bir koordinasyona rastlanmamistir. Mononükleer kompleksler sentezlenmistir. Pd (II) diamagnetiktir. Dolayisiyla sadece Cu (II)'nin magnetik ölçümü yapilmistir. Bulunan magnetik momentum degerleri (1.82, 1.91, 1.81 B.M.) Bu sonuçlara göre Cu (II) kompleksleri bozuk tetrahedral veya karedüzlem yapida olabilir.
In this study, new N-aryl-susbstitue salicylaldimine ligands and their Cu(II), Pd(II) ion complexes, on the basis of substitute salicylaldehyde derivative, (H, Br, NO2 ) and 2,5- ditertbutylaniline were synthesized. Synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis , IR, spectrophotometer(UV/VIS) and ma gnetic susceptibility. It was found that Cu(II) and Pd(II) metal ions were complexed with all ligands. Electronic spectra of Cu(II) complexes in dimethylformamide, dichloromethane, hexane and ethanol showed that structures of these complexes is distorted tetrahedral geometry or square-planar and according to electron spectrum of Pd(II) complexes in same solvents. It can be said that structure of these complexes is square-planar. Elemental analysis results indicate that synthesized complexes are very pure. Elemental analysis showed that the ratio of metal- ligant of complexes is 1 : 2. So, this result showed that the complexes are ML2 structure IR spectrum of complexes in KBr pellets the characterization of complexes by IR the most characteristic peak of complexes in IR spectrum is imine group. The caharacteristic peak which shows imine group in ligant is 1614-1623 cm-1 in the case of metal shalets the characteristic peak of imine is 1603-1609 cm-1 which is low fre energy. As a result, any unexcepted results was not seen during reaction of Schiff bases and their Cu(II), Pd (II) complexes. Mononuclear complexes were synthesized. Magnetic measurement values of synthesized Cu(II) complexes are (1.82, 1.91, 1.81. B.M). These results show that synthesized Cu(II) are tetrahedral or square-planar.
