Abstract:
Çalışma, 1997 ve 1998 yıllarında Harran Ovası pamuk ekim alanlarında, erken dönemde zararlı olan Thrips tabaci Lindeman (Thysanopterra : Thripidae) ve doğal düşmanlarının populasyon gelişmesini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. T. tabaei'mn populasyon gelişimini belirlemek için gözle kotnrol yöntemi, doğal düşmanların populasyon gelişmesini belirlemek için de gözle kontrol yöntemine ilave olarak atrap kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucuna göre, Harran ovasmda pamuk ekim alanlarında zarar yapan tek türün T. tabaci oduğu saptanmıştır. T. tabaci pamuğun çimlenmesiyle birlikte bitkiler üzerinde görülmeye başlanmış ve ilk 2-3 hafta içerisinde populasyonu hızla artarak tepe noktasına ulaşmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada T. tabacfraa doğal düşmanlarından, Aelothrips intermedins BagnalL Nobis ferus (L.), N. pseudoferus Rem., Orhıs miratus (L.), Chrysopa cornea Stephens, Coccinella septempunctata (L.), Adonia variegata (Goeze), Scymmıs bbndnenıs Cap., S. rubromaculatus (Goeze), S. paUipediformis Günther, Nephus nigricans Weise türleri saptananmış olup, populasyon gelişimi belirlenmiştir. T. tabaci was sampled by direct counting on the plants, natural enemies were sampled by using both direct counting and sweep net Study results revealed that T. tabaci was observed on the cotton seedling right after the emergence, then its population had a rapid increase in the following first few weeks causing greate damage to seedling cotton.
