dc.description.abstract With the increasing population density, rising fuel prices, and environmental fluctuations, it has become necessary to use renewable energy to produce energy. The production of electrical energy through solar and wind energy as renewable energy is compatible with the environment and encourages economic growth, especially countries that depend on fossil fuel to produce electrical energy such as the Comoros Islands. It is necessary to exploit available renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind energy, to produce electricity. Although the electrical network has reached the province of Wachili, there is a major electrical crisis, as the electricity is cut off daily and sometimes there is no electricity within 24 hours. Some of the people in the province of Wachili use solar energy for lighting only, and some of them use diesel generators. As diesel generators are known to have a costly impact, they also cause an increase in carbon, and they have negative effects on the environment in terms of high temperatures. The solutions to the electrical problems in the province of Wichili in particular and the Comoros Islands in general. It is to create and establish a hybrid system that includes solar energy, wind energy, a battery, and diesel to supply the province of Wichili. Only battery and diesel are used in case of necessity. According to the power supply electricity of comoros island, wachili region in comoros island is consumpted around 0.5 to 1.3 MWh per hour. Establish hybid system be able to meet the demand load in wachili region around 24 hours. The Homer program was used to design the hybrid system to obtain more accurate results. The results produced by the Homer program will be compared with the government electric company. en_US
