Abstract:
Bu çalışmanın amacı; bitkisel ıslah materyalleri kullanarak tuzlu ve tuzlu-sodik torakların ıslah edilebilme olanaklarının araştırılmasıdır. Harran Ovasının sodikleşmiş alanlarında su geçirgenliği azaldığından yıkama yolu ile ıslahı mümkün değildir. Bu alanların ıslahı genelde jipsin uygulanması ile mümkündür. Fakat bu uygulama büyük alanlar için maliyeti oldukça yüksektir. Bu alanların ıslahında tuza dayanıklı bitkilerin yetiştirilmesi ile sorunun çözüleceği görülmüştür. Çalışmada farklı halofik düzeyde olan iki sebze türü (deniz börülcesi, semizotu) ve bir buğdaygil bitkisi (tritikale) kullanarak tuzlu ve tuzlu sodik alanların problem düzeyinin ne ölçüde azalacağı ölçülmüştür. Çalışmada Harran ovası Bozyazı mevkiinden (Harran 2 serisinden) tuzlu ve Akçakale serisinden alınan tuzlu-sodik topraklar kullanıldı. Deneme sonucunda Elektiriksel İletkenlik (EC) değerlerindeki en iyi düşüşü deniz börülcesi vermiştir. EC değerini tuzlu sodik toprakta 8,07 dS m-1 den 1.87 dS m-1e , tuzlu toprakta ise 4,31 dS m-1 den 1,59 dS m-1 e düşürmüştür. Semizotu tuzlu sodik toprakta gelişim gösterrmemiş, tuzlu toprakta ise 4,33 dS m-1 den 2,03 dS m-1 e düşürmüştür. Tritikale ise tuzlu sodik toprakta EC üzerinde bir etki göstermemiş, tuzlu toprakta ise 4,44 dS m-1 den 1,98 e düşürmüştür. Çalışmada deniz börülcesi yüksek EC ve ESP değerlerine rağmen toleransı en iyi bitki olmuştur
The aim of this study is to investigate the improvement possibilities of saline and saline-sodic soils by using bio reclamation method. As water permeability is reduced in the sodicised areas of the Harran Plain, it is not possible to reclamate with washing. Reclamation of these areas is usually possible with the application of gypsum. But this practice is quite high cost for large areas. It was seen that the problem would be solved by growing salt resistant plants in the breeding of these areas. In this study, the level of the problem level of salty and salty sodic areas was measured by using two vegetable species (purslane, seabream) and a wheat plant (triticale) at different halofic level.In the study, salty and sodic soils were taken from the Bozyazı region of Harran (Harran 2 series) and from the Akçakale series. At the end of the experiment, the best decrease in Electrical Conductivity (EC) values was given by sea beans..The EC value was decreased from 8.07 dS m-1 to 1.87 dS m-1e in saline sodic soil and from 4.31 dS m-1 to 1.59 dS m-1 in saline soils. Purslane has not developed in salty sodic soils and in saline soils decreased from 4.33 dS m-1 to 2.03 dS m-1. Triticale did not show any effect on EC in saline sodic soils and decreased to 4.98 dS m-1 to 1.98insalinesoils. In the study, sea beans was the best plant with the highest EC and ESP values.
