Abstract:
Bor elementinin eksikliği bitki gelişimini olumsuz etkilerken fazlalığı da toksik etki yapmaktadır. Borun toksik etkisi bitkiden bitkiye farklılık göstermektedir. Bu çalışma, farklı konsantrasyonda bor içeren sulama sularının, bora dayanaklı bir bitki olan pamuk bitkisindeki etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada biri kontrol, yedisi farklı bor konsantrasyonları olmak üzere 8 farklı deneme konusu (0, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 ppm) ele alınmıştır. Deneme tesadüf parselleri deneme deseninde ve altı tekerrürlü olarak yürütülmüştür. Deneme süresince bitki gelişimi takip edilmiş ve deneme sonunda borun bitki boyu, yaş ağırlığı, kuru ağırlığı, lif kalitesi, yaprakta ve toprakta biriken bor miktarına etkisi saptanmıştır. Az miktardaki bor uygulamasının verimi artırdığı belirlenmiştir. Sulama suyundaki bor içeriği sulama suyundaki bor içeriğinin 2.5 ppm olmasıyla birlikte bor toksik etki yapmaya başlamıştır. Artan bor konsantrasyonu pamuğun, boyunu, yaş ve kuru ağırlığını, lif verimini önemli düzeyde etkilemiştir. Aynı zamanda sulama suyunun bor içeriğindeki artış bitkide ve toprakta bor birikmesine neden olmuştur.
Lack of boron element negatively affects the plant growth, while the excess is toxic. The toxic effect of boron varies from plant to plant. This study was carried out to determine the effects of irrigation waters containing different concentrations of boron in cotton plant, which is a plant with borax resistance. In this study, 8 different experimental subjects (0, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 ppm) were discussed. The experiment was carried out in randomized plot design and six replications. Plant growth was monitored during the trial and the effect of boron on plant height, wet weight, dry weight, fiber quality, amount of boron deposited on leaf and soil was determined. It was determined that the amount of boron application increased the yield. The content of boron in the irrigation water significantly influenced the length, age, dry weight and fiber yield of cotton. At the same time, the increase in boron content of irrigation water caused the accumulation of boron in the plant and soil.
