Abstract:
Portland çimentosu ile silis dumanı ağırlıkça %15'ten daha fazla yer değiştirdiğinde, Kendiliğinden Yerleşen Harçlarda (KYH) ve betonlarda ayrışma sorunu meydana geldiği daha önceki çalışmalarda farklı araştırmacılar tarafından bildirilmiştir. Bu tez çalışmasında, ağırlıkça %25 yer değiştirmeli silis dumanlı KYH'ın ayrışmasını önlemek için kalker tozu kullanılmıştır. Toplam olarak, KYH'lardan beş seri karışım üretilmiştir. KYH'ın kontrol karışımının binder malzemesi sadece Portland çimentosu olmuştur. Diğer KYH'da, Portland çimentosu ile silis dumanı ağırlıkça %25 yer değiştirmiştir. Diğer üç KYH karışımlarındaki binder, Portland çimentosu, silis dumanı ve kalker tozu içermiştir. Kontrol karışımındaki Portland çimentosu miktarının, kalker tozu ile yer değiştirmeleri sırasıyla ağırlıkça %5, 10 ve 20 olarak seçilmiştir. Böylece, Portland çimentosu ile silis dumanı ve kalker tozunun toplam yer değiştirmeleri ağırlıkça %25, 35 ve 45 olmuştur. Kontrol karışımındaki Portland çimentosu miktarı 640 kg/m3 olurken, ağırlıkça %45 yer değiştirmeli karışımda 352 kg/m3 olmuştur. Taze ve sertleşmiş KYH'lar üzerinde bazı testler yapılmıştır. Silis dumanlı KYH'ta, kalker tozunun ayrışmayı önlediği ve viskoziteyi azalttığı görülmüştür. Silis dumanlı KYH'ta, kalker tozu ayrışmayı önleyerek basınç dayanımının artmasına katkıda bulunmuştur.
It was reported in earlier studies by different researchers that the segregation problem occurred in the Self-Consolidated Mortars (SCMOs) or concretes when Portland cement replacement with the silica fume was higher than 15% by weight. In this thesis, the limestone powder was used to prevent segregation of the SCMOs with 25% silica fume replacement by weight. Totally five series mixtures of SCMOs were produced. The binder material of control SCMO mixture was the only Portland cement. In another SCMO, Portland cement was replaced with 25% silica fume by weight. In the other three SCMOs mixtures, the binder contained Portland cement, silica fume and limestone powder. The replacements of Portland cement amount in control mixture with limestone powder were selected as 5, 10 and 20% by weight, respectively. Thus, Portland cement replacements with total of silica fume and limestone powder were 25, 35 and 45% by weight. The Portland cement amount was 352 kg/m3 in the mixture with 45% replacement by weight while it was 640 kg/m3 in the control mixture. Some tests were made on fresh and hardened SCMOs. It was shown that the limestone powder prevented the segregation and decreased the viscosity in SCMO with silica fume. The limestone powder contributed to increase of the compressive strength in SCMO with silica fume by preventing segregation.
