Abstract:
Tarım arazilerinde görülen tuzluluk sorunu yüzünden bitkiler strese girmektedir. Stres ortamlarında bitkilerde osmotik basınç, hücre zarı geçirgenliği, fotosentez gibi bazı fizyolojik özellikler olumsuz olarak etkilenir ve sonuçta verimlilik düşmektedir. Bu durumda (100 mM) NaCl uygulanarak oluşturulan tuzlu koşullarda yetiştirilen; mısır bitkisine, tohuma ve yapraktan (3 ve 6 mg/l) nitrik oksit ve (0,5 ve 1,0 mM) putresin uygulamasının etkisi araştırılmıştır. Yapılan iki çalışma sonrasında tuz stresi bitkilerin yaş ve kuru ağırlığı, toplam klorofil, yaprak su potansiyeli, Ca, K, N, P alımı ve fotosentez miktarında düşüş gösterirken, osmotik basınç, prolin miktarı, hücre zarı geçirgenliği ve Na alımında artış meydana getirmiştir. Ancak Nitrik oksit ve putresin uygulamaların ise tuzlu koşullarda yetişen bitkilerde test edilen parametreler üzerinde kısmi olarak olumlu etki yapmıştır. Salinity problem in agricultural lands cause to stress on plants. Stress conditions have negative effects on plants such as osmotic pressure, cell wall permeability, photosynthesis etc. physiological features and increasing of yield eventually. For this purpose, effect of nitric oxide application (3 ve 6 mg/l) on seed and leaf of the corn under salt conditions (100 mM) besides effect of putrescine application as nutrient solution (0,5 and 1,0 mM) on leaf (100 mM) were evaluated in the present research. Results of the mentioned two researches showed that salt stress cause to decrease on fresh and dry weight of plants, total chlorophyll, leaf water potential, absorption of Ca, K, N and P, photosynthesis while an increase was determined on osmotic pressure, prolin content, cell wall permeability and absorption of Na. However, nitric oxide and putrescine partly improved the parameters tested of plants grown at saline conditions. KEY WORDS: salt, nitric oxide,putrescine, maize
