Abstract:
Bu çalışmada; hasat sonrası patojenik organizmalardan Penicillium türlerine ait Penicilliumexpansum'un domates meyveleri üzerinde oluşturduğu etkilerin kalite ve kantite açısından değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır.Bu amaçla; domates türlerinin (yerli sofralık ve cherry) hastalık etmenine karşı oluşturduğu fizyolojik ve biyokimyasal tepki mekanizmaları incelenmiştir. Meyveler doğal depolama ve taşınma şekilleri esas alınarak yara ve enjeksiyon şeklinde inokule edilmiştir.Oda sıcaklığında 2 haftalık inkubasyon sonrası elde edilen bulgulara göre üç ayrı aşamada elde edilen verilere göre meyve ağırlığı ve meyve çapında kontrol grubuna göre istatistik olarak önemli azalmalar tespit edilmiştir, P<0.05. Simptom indeksi, meyve çürüklüğü ve lezyon çapında ise istatistik olarak artmalar görülmüştür. Fungal etmen domates meyvesi üzerinde kalite parametrelerini de olumsuz etkilemiş; meyve sertliği, toplam çözünebilir katı madde içeriği, titretable asit değerleri azalmı, bunun yanısıra elektrolit sızıntısı, pH, toplam fenol, antosiyanin içeriği ve flavonoid değerleri ise artmış böyleceolumsuz yönde etkilenmiştir.P. expansum'un patolojik olarak etki mekanizması ve domates çeşitleri üzerinde oluşturduğu patojenisite, fungusun yıkıcı etkisinin belirlenmesinde ve buna karşı oluşturulacak mücadele kapsamında önemli bir veri tabanı oluşturmuştur.
In this study,the effectofPenicillium expansum, which belongs to thePenicilliumspecies of saprophyte organisms, has been evaluated in the sense of the quality and quantityontomatoes. For this purpose, the physiological and biochemicalreaction mechanisms that can occur in response to the disease factor within the tomato species (local tableand cherry) were examined.The fruits were inoculated as wound and injection, which was based on natural storage and transportation methods. According to evidences, following two week-incubation period at room temperature and at three different phases, it was confirmed that fruit weight and diameter were decreased significantly with respect to control group, P<0.05. It wasalso observed that symptom index, fruits disease, and lesion diameter significantly increased. Fungal agent alsonegatively affected the quality parameters oftomato fruits such as fruit hardness, total soluble solid contents, and titratable acidity were decreased besides, electricalconductivity, pH, total phenol, anthocyanin and flavonoid contents were increased. Therefore, tomato fruits were affected negatively.The pathological mechanism of action and pathogenicity of P.expansum, which wasevaluated on tomatospecies, formed a considerable database to determine and prevent tomato from the destructive effects of fungus.
