Abstract:
Bu çalışmada Transfer Matrisi Yöntemiyle narin kolonların stabilite problemleri ele alınmıştır. Tezin ilk kısmında kolonlar için stabilite kavramından bahsedilmiş, ardından önceki çalışmalar verilmiştir. Daha sonra Transfer Matrisi Yöntemi anlatılmıştır. Klasik ve klasik olmayan tarzda mesnetli kolonların burkulma yükleri bu yöntemin uygulanmasıyla elde edilmiştir. Hesaplar neticesinde elde edilen sonuçlar Transfer Matrisi Yönteminin narin kolon burkulma problemleri gibi tek boyutlu mekanik problemlerin çözümü için oldukça elverişli bir yöntem olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Böylece yöntemin geniş bir uygulama potansiyelinin olduğu görülmüştür. Tez çalışmasından elde edilen sonuçlar çalışmanın son bölümünde sunulmuştur.
In this study, the stability problem of slender columns is investigated by using Transfer Matrix Method. In first section of the thesis, the concept of stability for the columns is mentioned and then previous studies has been given. Then, the Transfer Matrix Method has been explained. The buckling loads of classically and non-classically supported columns have been determined by the application of the method. Obtained results from calculations have shown that the Transfer Matrix Method is a very suitable method for solution of one dimentional mechanical problems, such as slender column buckling problems. Thus, it has been seen that the method has a wide application potential. Obtained results have been presented in the section of Conclusions.
