Abstract

Bu çalışmada, TRC2 (Şanlıurfa-Diyarbakır) bölgesinde, bölgesel kalkınma farklılıklarını gidermede Karacadağ Kalkınma Ajansı'nın rolü incelenmiştir.Çalışmanın amacı, Karacadağ Kalkınma Ajansının bölgenin ekonomik ve sosyal kalkınmasındaki rolünün belirlenmesidir. Çalışma sonucunda,bölgede ekonomik ve sosyal açıdan en büyük sorun teşkil eden alanların eğitim, istihdam, sağlıkve sanayileşme olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme, Karacadağ Kalkınma Ajansı'nın bölgesel dengesizliklerin giderilmesinde sağladığı mali ve teknik desteklerle bu alanlarda iyileşme sağladığını göstermiştir.Ayrıca, ajansın bölgesel kalkınma ve gelişmenin yönetiminde ve yönlendirmesinde kamu sektörü, özel sektör ve sivil toplum kuruluşları arasında işbirliğini ve güç birliğini sağlayan yeni bir yönetişim mekanizması ortaya koyduğu belirlenmiştir. In this study; in the region of TRC2 (Şanlıurfa-Diyarbakır), the role of Karacadağ Development Agency in eliminating regional development differences is examined. The aim of the study is to specify the role of Karacadağ Development Agency in economical and social development of the region. As a result of the study, the fields constituting the biggest problems in terms of economical and social aspects in the region are education, employment, health and industrialization. Research conducted shows that there is a betterment in the economical and technical supports of Karacadağ Development Agency in eliminating the regional imbalances. In addition, it is found that in terms of management and guidance to development and processing of the region, the agency executes a governance mechanism in order to supply collaboration and cooperation among private sector, public sector and non governmental organizations.
