Abstract:
Bu tez çalışması kapsamında, Türkiye'nin en büyük entegre projesi olan Güneydoğu Anadolu Projesi (GAP) bölgesinde yer alan dokuz ilde bulunan 15 istasyona ait aylık ortalama yağış verileri kullanılarak kuraklık analizi yapılmıştır. Kuraklığın belirlenmesinde literatürde sıklıkla kullanılan Standartlaştırılmış Yağış İndeksi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Zamansal kuraklık indis değerleri 1, 3, 6 ve 12 aylık zaman ölçeklerine göre değerlendirilmiş ve Aşırı Kurak ve Çok Kurak dönemler belirlenmiştir. Farklı zaman ölçeklerine göre hesaplanan kuraklık indis değerlerinin trendi parametrik olmayan Mann-Kendall ve Spearman‟ın Rho testleri ile belirlenmiştir. Trend varlığını belirlemek için kullanılacak testleri uygulanmadan önce iç bağımlılığın zaman serisinden kaldırılması için "pre-whiten" yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Trendin eğimin belirlenmesinde Sen‟in Trend Eğim metodu kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, genel olarak GAP bölgesinin tamamı dikkate alındığında neredeyse tüm zaman ölçeklerinde ve istasyonların çoğunda belirlenen anlamlı trendlerin azalan yönde olduğu belirlenmiştir.
In this thesis drought analysis was performed in the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region, which is Turkey's the biggest integrated project, using the monthly average precipitation data from 15 stations in nine provinces. Being one of the most frequently used methods in the literature, the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) was used to determine the drought indices. Temporal drought index values were evaluated according to 1, 3, 6 and 12 monthly time scales and hence extreme drought and severe drought periods were determined. The trend of drought indices calculated according to different time scales, were determined by non-parametric Mann-Kendall and Spearman's Rho tests. Before trend analysis, "Pre-whiten" method was used to remove serial dependence from time series. Sen's Slope method was also used to determine the slope of the trend. As a result of the analysis conducted in the study, it was determined that in general, when the GAP region was taken into account as a whole, the significant trends determined in most of the stations were decreasing for almost all time scales
