Abstract:
İslam geleneğinde ramazan, oruç tutulan ve yoğun bir şekide ibadet edilen önemli bir aydır. Kur'ân-ı Kerîm bu ayda indirilmiş, mübarek Kadir Gecesi bu ayda yer almıştır. Bu ayı faziletli kılan diğer ibadetlerde vardır. Hz. Peygamber ramazan ayını, gündüzlerini oruçlu, gecelerini teravih namazıyla ihya ederek geçirmiş ve bu aydaKur'ân-ı Kerîm'i Cebrâil'e (a.s.) arzetmiştir. Hz. Peygamber sahur yemeğini ihmal etmemiş, ashabına da sahur yapmaları konusunda tavsiyede bulunmuştur. İftar vaktini geciktirmeden orucunu açmışve iftar duasına önem vermiştir. Ramazan ayınınson on gününde itikâfa girerek bin aydan daha hayırlı olan Kadir Gecesi'ni en iyi şekilde değerlendirmeye çalışmıştır.Ramazan ayında işlenebilecek küçük hatalara kefaret olması sebebiyle fıtır sadakasını emretmiş ve ramazanın bitimindebayram namazını kılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ibadet kavramı, ibadetin faziletleri, çeşitleri, insanların ona olan ihtiyacı ve hadislerde ibadet konusu işlenecek, ramazan ayının tanımı ve önemi hakkında bilgi verilecek, bu aya has ibadetler olan oruç, sahur, iftar, teravih, itikâf, mukabele, fıtır sadakası vb. ele alınacak ve Hz. Peygamber'in (s.a.s.) ramazan ayındaki ibadet hayatı incelenecektir.
In Islamic tradition, Ramadan is an important month in which people fast and worship intensely. The Holy Qur'an was sent down and the blessed Night of Qadr takes place in this month. There are also some other worships that make this month virtuous. In the Ramadan month, the Holy Prophet fasted during the day and revived his nights with tarawih prays, along with submitting Qur'an to Gabriel (PBUH). The Holy Prophet did not neglect Suhur food, and advised his companions to have Suhur food, as well. He broke the fasting in time and cared for Iftar prayer. In the last ten days of Ramadan, the Holy Prophet used to seclude himself (known as I'tikaf) in order to make the best use of the Night of Qadr which is more benevolent than a thousand months. He advised giving Fitr alms as an atonement for the minor sins that can be committed in the Ramadan, and performed Salat al Eid at the end of this month. In this study, the concept of worship, its kinds and merits, people's need for it, and the subject of worship in the hadith will be discussed. The definition and importance of Ramadan month will be examined. Certain prayers, which are peculiar to this month, such as fasting, Suhur, Iftar, tarawih, I'tikaf, Quran recitation, and Fitr alms will also be analysed. Lastly, the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) worship life in the month of Ramadan will be examined.
