Abstract:
Tuz stresi dünya genelinde kurak ve yarı kurak alanlarda bitki gelişimini olumsuz etkileyen en önemli stres faktörlerinden biridir. Bu çalışmada sera koşullarında saksıda yetiştirilen tuz stresi altındaki domates bitkisine topraktan potasyum nitrat uygulamasının bitkinin verimine ve fizyolojik gelişimine olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla bitkilere topraktan artan (0, 150mg/kg, 300mg/kg) dozlarda potasyum nitrat ve 100 mM NaCl uygulanmıştır. Tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak kurulan denemede SC-2121-Oturak domates çeşidi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma boyunca domates bitkisinde maksimum floresans, klorofil ölçümleri, biomas, mineral içerikleri ve su potansiyeli belirlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda domates bitkisine 100 mM NaCl uygulanması sonucunda bitki örneklerinde azot ve potasyum içerikleri, su potansiyeli, biomas klorofil miktarları ve maksimum floresan değerlerinde azalma gözlemlenmiştir. Meydana gelen bu azalma tuz stresi altında yetişen domates bitkisine topraktan potasyum nitrat uygulanması sonucunda artan potasyum dozuna bağlı olarak azot ve potasyum içerikleri artmış, maximum floresans değeri ve klorofil içerikeri artmış, hücre zarı geçirgenliği ise tuz uygulamasıyla artmış ve potasyumlu gübre ugulanması sonucunda azalmıştır. Ozmotik basınç azalırken vejetatif aksam, biyomas, yaş ağırlık, kuru ağırlığı ve su potansiyeli artmıştır. Stres koşulları altında yetişen domates bitkisine topraktan potasyum nitrat uygulanması neticesinde tuzun bitkide oluşturduğu olumsuz etkileri potasyumun uygulanmasıyla azaltılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Salt stress is one of the most important stress factors that adversely affect plant growth in arid and semi-arid areas throughout the world. In this study, the effects of potassium nitrate application on the yield and physiological development of the plant were investigated. For this purpose, 100 mM NaCl and potassium nitrate was applied to the plants increasing doses (0, 150 mg / kg, 300 mg / kg). SC-2121-Oturak tomato varieties were used in experiment with 3 replications according to randomized blocks trial design. Throughout the research, maximum fluorescence and chlorophyll measurements on tomato plant and biomass, mineral contents and water potential were determined. As a result of the analysis, decrease in nitrogen and potassium contents, water potency, biomass, chlorophyll values and maximum fluorescence values were observed in tomato plants subjected to salt application. As a result of application of potassium nitrate to tomato plants grown under salt stress, nitrogen and potassium contents increased, maximum fluorescence value and chlorophyll content increased, and cell permeability increased with salt application. As the osmotic pressure decreases, the vegetative component increases in biomass, dry weight and water potential. As a result of application of potassium nitrate to tomato plants grown under stress conditions, the negative effects of salt plants can be reduced by the application of potassium.
