Şanlıurfa-Suruç Ovası koşullarında farklı pamuk (Gossypium hirsutum L.) genotiplerinin verim ve lif kalite özeliklerinin belirlenmesi / Determination of the yield and fiber quality properties of different genotypes of the cottons in Sanliurfa-Suruç Plain

Abstract

Tekstil sektöründeki gelişmelerle birlikte, verimli ve kaliteli liflere sahip çeşitlerin ıslahı önem arz etmektedir. Bu amaçla, çeşit ıslahı aşamalarından birisi de çeşit adaylarının standart çeşitlerle birlikte tarla koşullarında performanslarının incelenmesidir. Bu bağlamda, araştırma, Suruç Ovası koşullarında bazı pamuk (Gossypium hirsutum L.) genotiplerinin (ST-468, BA-119, DP-396 ve Babylon ile tescil aşamasında olan Esperia: GW-13-921, Bomba, GW-13-1409 ve yeni çeşit adayları; GW-15179, GW15180, GW-15184, GW-15186, GW-15187, GW 15188, GW-15189, GW-15191) ana ürün koşullarında yetiştirme olanaklarını araştırmak amacıyla planlanmış ve çalışma üretici tarlasında 2017 yılı yetiştirme sezonunda yürütülmüştür. Deneme tesadüf blokları deneme deseninde 4 tekerrürlü, her parsel 4 sıralı, sıra arası 72 cm ve sıra üzeri mesafe 16-18 cm olacak şekilde düzenlenmiştir. Ekim işlemi 1 Mayıs 2017 tarihinde yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; genotipler arasında kütlü pamuk veriminin 449 kg/da ile 622 kg/da arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, kütlü pamuk verimi yönünden Esperia, erkencilik özellikleri yönünden Bomba, meyve dalı ve koza sayısı yönünden Esperia ve Babylon, bitki boyu ve koza kütlü pamuk ağırlığı yönünden GW-15188, çırçır randımanı yönünden GW-15184, 100 tohum ağırlığı, lif indeksi ve lif uzunluğu yönünden GW-15186, lif inceliği yönünden Bomba, lif mukavemeti yönünden GW-15187, lif kopma uzaması yönünden ST-468 çeşidi, lif parlaklığı yönünden GW-15180, lif sarılık değeri yönünden GW-15179 genotiplerinin diğer genotiplere göre üstün oldukları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, lif uzunluk uyumu indeksi, kısa lif oranı ve odun dalı sayısı yönünden genotipler arasında önemli bir farklılığın olmadığı saptanmıştır. Together with the developments in the textile sector, improvement of the varieties with yield and high-quality fibers is becoming important. For this purpose, one of the stages of cultivar development is to examine the cultivar candidates' performances with control varieties in field conditions. For these reasons, the research was planned to investigate the possibilities of growing some cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) genotypes (ST-468, BA-119, DP-396 and Babylon varieties and in the registration phases' varieties; Esperia, GW-13-921, Bomba, GW-13-1409, and new variety candidates; GW-15179, GW15180, GW-15184, GW-15186, GW-15187, GW 15188, GW-15189 and GW-15191) under the Suruç Plain conditions. The study was carried out in farmer's field in Suruç plain during the growing season of 2017. The experiment was designed in randomized block design with 4 replications, each plot with 4 rows, 72 cm between rows and 16-18 cm intrarows. Seeds were sown on May 1, 2017. As a result of the research, cotton yield was changed between 449 kg/da and 622 kg /da in all genotypes. In addition, Esperia in terms of seed cotton yield, due to its earliness characteristics Bomb, in terms of number of sympodia and number of bolls; Esperia and Babylon, plant height and seed cotton weight per boll; GW-15188, GW-15184 in terms of ginning outturn, seed index, fiber index and fiber length, GW-15186, In terms of fiber fineness Bomba, GW-15187; in terms of fiber strength, ST-468 variety in terms of fiber elongation, In terms of reflectance; GW-15180, GW-15179 genotypes were superior to the other genotypes in terms of fiber yellowness value. It was also found that there is no significant difference between the genotypes in terms of fiber uniformity, short fiber content and number of monopodia.
