Abstract:
Bu tez çalışmasında, kendiliğinden yerleşen betonun (KYB) mekanik, dayanıklılık ve özellikle işlenebilirlik özellikleri bakımından büyük önem arzeden toz malzemeye alternatif olarak kireçtaşı tozunun (KTT) kullanılabilirliği araştırılmıştır. Çünkü, Şanlıurfa'da yüksek rezerve sahip olan kireçtaşı kırmataş şeklinde beton agregası olarak yaygın bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Konkasörle kırma işlemi esnasında, önemli miktarda kireçtaşı tozu ortaya çıktığı mevcut işletmelerde gözlemlenmiştir. Dolayısıyla, kendiliğinden yerleşen harçta (KYH) kireçtaşından elde edilmiş olan tozun farklı oranlarda (%0, %15, %25 ve %35) çimento yerine kullanılmasının harcın taze ve sertleşmiş özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, farklı oranlarda KTT içeren KYH karışımları için mini çökme-yayılma, V-hunisi ve rotasyonel viskozimetre deneyleri ile üretilen karışımların 3, 28 ve 56 günlük Ultrases geçiş hızı (UPV), basınç ve yarmada çekme dayanımı testleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, karışımlara ait 28 günlük kapiler su emme ve karbonatlaşma derinliği gibi durabilite özellikleri de belirlenmiştir. Sonuçta, çimento yerine KTT kullanılmasının, genelde karışımların işlenebilirlik ve reolojik özellikleri üzerinde olumsuz bir etkiye sahip olmadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca, KTT'nin %15 oranına kadar kullanılmasının kontrol karışımına kıyasla, mekanik ve durabilite özelliklerini tüm kür yaşları için fazla etkilemediği gözlemlenmiştir.
In this thesis, the usability of limestone powder (LSP) as an alternative to powder material which is of great importance in terms of mechanics, durability and especially workability properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC) has been investigated. The limestone, which has high reserves in Şanlıurfa, is widely used as concrete aggregate in the form of crushed stone. During crushing with a crusher, significant amounts of limestone dust have been observed at existing plants. Therefore, the effect of replacing the cement with different proportions (0%, 15%, 25% and 35%) of the powder obtained from the limestone in the self-compacting mortar (SCM) has been investigated on the fresh and hardened properties of the mortar.For this purpose Ultrasonic Transmission Rate (UPV), pressure and tensile strength tests of 3, 28 and 56 days mixtures of SCM mixtures containing LSP at different ratios, mini-slump-spread, V-funnel and rotational viscometer tests were performed.In addition, durability properties such as 28 days capillary water absorption and carbonation depth of mixtures were also determined. As a result, it has been found that using LSP instead of cement does not generally have a negative effect on the workability and rheological properties of the mixtures.It has also been observed that the use of LSP up to 15% does not significantly affect the mechanical and durability properties of the control mixture for all curing ages.
