Abstract:
Son yıllarda, karmaşık ara sistemler gerektirmeden ve çevre kirliliğine neden olmadan güneş enerjisini doğrudan elektrik enerjisine dönüştüren fotovoltaikler gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde büyük ilgi odağı haline gelmiştir. Dünyanın her yerinde fotovoltaiklere yapılan yatırımlar ve sağlanan teşvikler sayesinde elektrik enerjisi üretiminde kullanılan kaynaklar arasında önemli bir paya sahip hale gelmesi bunun önemli göstergelerindendir. Tüm olumlu özelliklerine karşın fotovoltaikler ile elektrik enerjisi üretimi diğer yöntemlere göre pahalıdır ve elde edilen elektrik enerjisi miktarı çevre koşullarına bağlı olarak gün içinde her an değişir. Bunların etkisini azaltmanın başlıca yollarından biri fotovoltaikleri kontrol ederek onları üretebilecekleri en büyük güç noktasında çalıştırmaktır. Fotovoltaik sistemlerde kullanılan maksimum güç noktası izleyiciler, bir algoritma ile fotovoltaiklerin uçlarındaki gerilim ve akımı kontrol ederek üretilen gücü en büyük değerine getirmeye çalışırlar. Ancak, fotovoltaik dizideki panellerin farklı ışınımlar altında olması veya paneller arasındaki uyumsuzluklar nedeniyle güç-gerilim eğrisi üzerinde birden fazla en büyük güç noktası oluştuğundan geleneksel algoritmalar bu durumlarda başarısız olur. Yapılan bu tez çalışması ile fotovoltaik dizinin kısmi gölgelenmesi durumunda da maksimum güç noktasını izleyebilen bir algoritma önerilmiştir. MATLAB/Simulink benzetim ortamında, şebeke bağlantılı ve şebeke bağlantısız fotovoltaik sistemlerde önerilen algoritmanın başarılı bir şekilde en büyük güç noktasını takip edebildiği gösterilmiştir.
Photovoltaics which transforms solar energy into electricity without requiring a complicated interface and causing any environmental pollution has recently become the focus of interest in both developed and developing countries. One of its most important indications is that photovoltaics has become a major receiver of the resources used in producing electrical energy with the help of worldwide investments and promotions in the field. Despite all the positive sides, producing electricity with photovoltaics is more expensive than other methods and the amount of electricity produced can vary any minute during the day depending on environmental factors. One of the major ways to reduce their effects is to control photovoltaics and employ them during their most productive moments. Maximum power point trackers used in photovoltaic systems try to maximize the produced power by controlling the voltage and the current on the tips of photovoltaics with the help of an algorithm. However, multiple maximum power points appear on power-voltage curve because of radiation differences on panels in a photovoltaic series or an incompatibility among panels, and traditional algorithms fail in such situations. In this research, an algorithm able to track maximum power point when photovoltaic series is partially shadowed is proposed. In MATLAB/Simulink simulation environment, it has been shown that the proposed algorithm can successfully track maximum power point in photovoltaic systems with and without a network connection.
