Abstract:
Bu çalışma Harran Ovası koşullarında, patlıcan (Solanum melongena L.) bitkisinde damla sulama yöntemi kullanarak su-verim ilişkisini belirlemek için yürütülmüştür. Araştırma tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekerrürlü olacak şekilde kurulmuştur. Çalışma A sınıfı buharlaşma kabında oluşan 4 günlük toplam buharlaşmanın %50, %75, %100, %125 ve %150'sinin karşılandığı su düzeyleri incelenmiş ve beş farklı pan katsayısı (kcp1=0.50, kcp2=0.75, kcp3=1.00, kcp4=1.25 ve kcp5=1.50'si) kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda sulama suyu miktarındaki artış, incelenen parametrelerin değerlerinde doğrusal bir ilişkiye neden olmuştur. Su seviyelerine bağlı olarak %50 konusundaki bitkilerde su stresi yaşanmış ve düşük verim belirlenmiştir. Oysa, %150 konusunda bitkilerden yüksek verim sağlanmıştır. Toplam 10 hasat yapılan bu çalışmada en yüksek verim %150 konusunda 8 311 kg/da ve en düşük verim ise %50 konusundan 3 324 kg/da elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular ve sonuçlar suyun verim ve verim bileşenleri üzerinde istatistiksel olarak önemli (p<0.01) bir faktör olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu çalışmada; patlıcanın (Solanum melongena L.) üretiminde optimum verim için yarı kurak bölgelerde su isteğinin oldukça yüksek olduğu, ancak aşırı sulanan konularda ise bitkide kök çürüklüğüne neden olduğu saptanmıştır.
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the water and the yield in the eggplant using drip irrigation method. This study was conducted using randomized block design with three replicates. In the Class A evaporation pan, the water levels were examined for providing %50, %75, %100, %125 and %150 of four-days total evaporation amount, and five different pan coefficient (kcp1=0.50, kcp2=0.75, kcp3=1.00, kcp4=1.25 and kcp5=1.50) were used. Results showed that the increase in the irrigation water amount caused a linear relationship in the studied parameters. In the treatment of 50%, a water stress and lower yield occurred in the plants due to the water levels. However, the plants provided higher yields at the treatment of %150. In this study, data of ten different times of harvesting were used. The highest yield (8 311 kg/da) and the lowest yield (3 325 kg/da) were obtained at the treatment of %150 and 50%, respectively. These findings and results demonstrated that the water was a statistically significant (p<0.01) factor on the yield and yield components. This study also showed that the production of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) required high amount of water for the optimum yield values at the semi-arid climate conditions; however, the treatments excessively irrigated resulted in the damage to the root of the plant.
