Abstract:
Tarım arazilerinde meydana gelen tuzluluk problemi karşısında bitkiler strese girmektedir. Stres koşullarında bitkilerde osmotik basınç, hücre zarı geçirgenliği, fotosentez gibi bazı fizyolojik özellikler olumsuz yönde etkilenmekte ve netice olarak verimlilik düşmektedir. Bu kapsamda (100 mM) NaCl uygulanarak oluşturulan tuzlu koşullar altında yetiştirilen; mısır bitkisine, tohuma ve yapraktan (400 ve 500 mM) diüre uygulamasının etkisi, buğday bitkisine ise yapraktan ve kök bölgesine besin solüsyonu ile (5 ve 10 mM) mannitol uygulamasının etkisi incelenmiştir. Yapılan iki çalışma neticesinde tuz stresi bitkilerin yaş ve kuru ağırlığı, toplam klorofil, yaprak su potansiyeli, Ca, K, N, P alımı ve fotosentez miktarında düşüş gösterirken, osmotik basınç, prolin miktarı, hücre zarı geçirgenliği ve Na alımında artış meydana getirmiştir. Mısır bitkisine diüre uygulaması ile yaş ve kuru ağırlıklar, tuzluluğun meydana getirdiği olumsuzluklar kısmen iyileştirilmiş. Ancak farklı uygulamalar arasındaki fark önemsiz bulunmuştur. Fotosentez, toplam klorofil, osmotik basınç, N, P ve Ca miktarlarındaki en iyi sonuç tohuma 500 mg/L diüre uygulamasından elde edilmiştir. Hücre zarı geçirgenliği, prolin, yaprak su potansiyeli ve Na miktarındaki en iyi sonuç tohumdan 500 mg/L ve yapraktan 400 mg/L diüre uygulamalarından elde edilmiştir. .Buğday bitkisine mannitol uygulaması ile toplam klorofil, yaprak su potansiyeli, hücre zarı geçirgenliği ve osmotik basınç gibi parametrelerde tuzluluğun meydana getirdiği olumsuzluklar kısmen iyileştirilmiştir. Ancak farklı uygulamalar arasındaki fark önemsiz bulunmuştur. Bitki yaş ve kuru ağırlığında, Na, Ca ve K miktarındaki en iyi sonuç yapraktan 5mM mannitol uygulamalarından elde edilmiştir. Fotosentez miktarındaki en iyi sonuç ise besin solüsyonu ile kök bölgesine 5 mM mannitol uygulamasından elde edilmiştir.
Salinity problem in agricultural lands cause to stress on plants. Stress conditions have negative effects on plants such as osmotic pressure, cell wall permeability, photosynthesis etc. physiological features and increasing of yield eventually. For this purpose, effect of thiourea application (400 and 500 mM) on seed and leaf of the corn under salt conditions (100 mM) besides effect of mannitol application as nutrient solution (5 and 10 mM) on leaf and root of the wheat under salt conditions (100 mM) were evaluated in the present research. Results of the mentioned two researches showed that salt stress cause to decrease on fresh and dry weight of plants, total chlorophyll, leaf water potential, absorption of Ca, K, N and P, photosynthesis while an increase was determined on osmotic pressure, prolin content, cell wall permeability and absorption of Na. Application of thiourea on corn partially resolved the negative effects of salinity on fresh and dry weight. Despite these, statistical analysis showed that differences among the applications were non-significant. Application dose of 500 mg/L thiourea on seeds showed the best results by view of photosynthesis, total chlorophyll, N, P and Ca content. Application dose of 500 mg/L thiourea on seeds and application dose of 500 mg/L thiourea on leaves showed the best results by view of cell wall permeability, prolin, leaf water content and Na content. Application of mannitol on wheat partially resolved the negative effects of salinity on total chlorophyll, leaf water content, cell wall permeability and osmotic pressure. On the other hand, statistical analysis showed that differences among the applications were non-significant. Application dose of 5mM mannitol on leaf showed the best results by view of fresh and dry weight, Na, Ca and K content. Application dose of 5mM mannitol on root showed the best results by view of photosynthesis activity.
