Abstract:
Bu çalışma hasat sonrası domates meyvelerinde Penicillium expansum fungusunun farklı sıcaklıklarındaki enfeksiyon şiddeti ve hastalık gelişimini fizyolojik ve biyokimyasal olarak inceleyerek domateste ürün kaybını azaltmak ve hastalığa karşı dayanıklılık mekanizmasını ortaya çıkarmak üzere yürütülmüştür. P. expansum ile inokule edilen 2 farklı domates (Solanum lycopersicum) çeşidinde (sofralık; Bandida F1 ve chery; Mangol F1) farklı sıcaklıkların (4oC, 8oC, 16oC, 25oC ve 36oC) domates çeşitleri üzerindeki fizyolojik ve biyokimyasal parametreleri incelenmiştir. Buna göre, ağırlık ve çap kaybı, simptom indeks değerleri 36oC'de istatistik olarak önemli derecede artmıştır. Diğer sıcaklıklarda da (4oC, 8oC, 16oC, 25oC) enfeksiyon durumu gözlenmiş, hastalık etmeninin geniş bir sıcaklık aralığına sahip olduğu ve meyve kalite ve kantite parametrelerini düşürdüğü tespit edilmiştir. Düşük sıcaklıkta hastalık etmenin hasar yapma derecesi düşmesine rağmen yine de enfeksiyona yol açtığı belirlenmiştir.
This study was carried to reduce the loss of crop production and to evaluate the defence mechanisms of postharvest tomato fruits inoculated with the fungus Penicillium expansum at different storage temperatures. Two different tomato fruits (Solanum lycopersicum; sofralık; Bandida F1 and chery; Mangol F1) were inoculated with P. expansum at different temperatures (4oC, 8oC, 16oC, 25oC and 36oC). Their physiological and biochemical responses were examined. Loss of weight, fruit size, symptom index and various biochemical parameters were negatively affected. At 36oC, the loss in quality and quantity parameters were more prevalent. The infection status was also observed at other storage temperatures (4oC, 8oC, 16oC, 25oC) and the disease agent had negatively affected quality and quantity parameters of tomato at a broad range of temperatures. Although the pathogencity of the disease agent is lowered at low temperature, however, the pathogenic agent was still able to act as pathogens and resulted in infections.
