Bir üniversite hastanesinde polikliniğe başvuran cildiye hastalarında tamamlayıcı ve alternatif tıp yöntemlerinin kullanımı / The use of complementary and alternative medicine methods in dermatologic polyclinic disease patients in a university hospital

Abstract

Bu çalışma, dermatoloji hastalarının tamamlayıcı ve alternatif yöntemlerini kullanma durumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Ocak- Haziran 2015 tarihleri arasında Harran Üniversitesi dermatoloji polikliniğine başvuran 439 hastanın dahil edildiği araştırma tanımlayıcı-kesitsel ve karşılaştırmalı tipte yapılmıştır. Veriler, Tanımlayıcı Özellikler, Tamamlayıcı ve Alternatif Yöntem Kullanım Durumu Soru Formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi SPSS programında sayı, yüzde ve kikare testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Hastaların %56,7'si 18-25 yaş grubunda, çoğunluğu kadın ve bekardır. %77,4'ü merkezde oturan hastalarin 91,9'u okur yazar olup, gelir düzeyi 1000 tl'nin altındadır. Hastaların %50,8'inin hastalık süresi 0 ile 1 yıl arasındadır. Hastaların %28,9'unun TAT yöntemi kullandığı bulunmuştur. Dermatoloji hastalarının %25,7'sinin en sık kullandığı TAT yöntemi biyolojik temelli tedavilerdir. Hastaların %17,8'i TAT yöntemini tercih etmelerinde çevrenin etkili olduğunu belirtmiştir. Hastaların % 15,9'u TAT'tan fayda gördüğünü, % 25,1'i yan etkiye rastlanmadığını, % 16,9'u başkasına önerebileceğini bildirmiştir. Akneli hastaların %26'sı, egzemalı hastaların %18,1'i, psoriyazisli hastaların ise %16,5'i TAT yöntemlerini kullanmıştır. Hastaların sosyodemografik özellikleri ile tat kullanım oranları karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmamıştır. Hastaların TAT kullanımının sorgulanarak oluşabilecek yan etkiler ve TAT kullanırken mevcut tedaviye devam etmesi gerektiği konusunda bilgilendirilmesi ve dermatolojik hastalıklarda TAT yöntemleri ile ilgili kanıta dayalı çalışmalar yapılması önerilir. The study involving 439 patients referred to Harran University dermatology outpatient clinic between January and June 2015 was conducted in a descriptive, cross-sectional and comparative type. Data were obtained using Descriptive Characteristics, Complementary and Alternative Method Usage Status Question Form. The analysis of the data was evaluated by the number, percentage and chikare test in the SPSS program. 56.7% of the patients are in the 18-25 age group, the majority being the women and the bachelor. 91.4% of the patients living in the center are 77.4% literate and their income level is below 1000 tl. 50.8% of patients have a disease duration of 0 to 1 year. 28.9% of the patients were found to use the TAT method. The most common TAT method used by 25.7% of dermatologists is biologically based therapies. 17.8% of the patients stated that they were effective in choosing TAT method. 15.9% of patients reported benefit from TAT, 25.1% reported no side effects, 16.9% said they could recommend it to someone else. 26% of the patients with fluid, 18.1% of patients with eczema and 16.5% of patients with psoriasis had used TAT methods. When the sociodemographic characteristics of the patients were compared with the taste usage rates, no statistically significant difference was found. It is suggested that patients should be informed about side effects that may arise by questioning the use of TAT and that current treatment should be continued when using TAT, and that evidence-based studies on TAT methods should be conducted in dermatological diseases.
