Adıyaman kentinde coğrafya öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin coğrafya öğretimine etkisi / Effects of geograohical methods and techniques on the geography teaching in Adıyaman province

Abstract

Bu çalışma,Adıyaman şehrinde coğrafya öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin coğrafya öğretimine etkisini incelemektedir.Coğrafya öğretimi yöntem ve tekniklerinin coğrafya öğretimine etkilerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.Adıyaman şehrinde resmi liselerde görev yapan öğretmen ve bu okullarda eğitim gören öğrencilerden anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler cronbach Alfa katsayısı,örneklem analizi için frekans ve yüzde analizi,T.testi,one Way ANOVA testi ve Post Hoc SSPS(Statistical package for Social Sciences) versiyon 17.0 paket programı kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Araştırma, okullarda fiziki mekanların yetersiz olduğunu,gezi gözlem yönteminin maliyet ve bürokrasi uygulamalarından dolayı çok az uygulandığını göstermiştir.Anlatım tekniğinin,öğrencileri derste pasif konumda tuttuğu belirlenmiştir.Görsel malzemelerin,dergi veya farklı kaynaklardaki coğrafi fotoğrafların coğrafya öğretimine olumlu katkılar sunabileceği belirtilmiştir. Anahtar Sözcükler:Coğrafya,yöntem ve teknikler,öğretim,Adıyaman This study investigates the influence of geographical methods and techniques on the geography teaching in Adıyaman province.It aims to find out the effects of geography teaching and techniques on geography education.In order to achive this goal questionnaire survey methods were applied on the teachers working in public high schools and on the students studying in these schools in Adıyaman Province.The data obtained from these surveys were analyzed by Cronbach Alfa,T tests One Way ANOVA test and post Hoc Scheffe test using the version of SSPS 17.0 program. The results have showed that,there is insufficient pysical spaces in schools,and that school trips and observation methods were fairly limited due to cost and bureaucratic hurdles.It has further indicated that teacher narration technique whic is followed in the class deactivates the students.It has been suggested that visual material,geographic photos in magazines or other sources may have a positive contribution to geography teaching.
