Çağdaş Arap şiirinde Kudüs / Jerusalem in contemporary Arabic poem

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Kudüs‟ün tarihi ve önemi incelenmiş; çağdaş Arap şiirinde Kudüs‟le ilgili yazılmış bazı şiirlerin çeviri ve tahlili ele alınmıştır. Osmanlı Devleti‟nin, Filistin‟i kaybetmesinden İngilizlerin ülkeyi işgal etmesine kadar devam eden süreçte yaşanan siyasî gelişmelerin Filistin toplumu üzerindeki etkilerini edebî yönden araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Filistin‟in sadece siyasî düzeyde konuşulan bir konu olmadığı; edebî yönünün de önemli olduğu hedeflenmiştir. Filistin halkının, işgal edilen vatanlarını kurtarmak, özgürlüklerini elde etmek ve ülkelerini bağımsızlığına kavuşturmak için mücadele ettiği tespit edilmiş ve bu mücadeleyi harekete geçiren en önemli faktörün şiir olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. In this study, the history and the importance of Jerusalem are observed, and translations and analysis of some poems written about Jerusalem in Arabic poem are discussed. It is aimed to investigate the effects of political improvements on the Palestine society in a time period spanning from the Ottoman Empire‟s loss of Palestine to the England‟s occupation of the country in a literate way. It is also aimed to show that Palestine is not only a subject that is spoken politically but also its literate side is very crucial. It is determined that the people of Palestine struggled with the aim of saving their occupied country, gaining their freedom and emancipating their country, and it is concluded that the most important factor to prompt this struggle was poem.
