Turizm coğrafyası açısından dizi turizmi: Karagül dizisi örneği (Halfeti) / Series tourism in terms of tourism geography: An example of Karagul series (Old Halfeti settlement)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, dizi turizminin Halfeti'ye etkisi ele alınmaktadır. Eski Halfeti yerleşmesinde çekilen Karagül dizisinin, Halfeti'ye yönelik turistik algıyı etkileyip etkilemediğinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, 2015 yılı Haziran, Temmuz, Ağustos aylarında Eski Halfeti yerleşmesine gelen turistlerden 136 kişiye ve yerel halktan 164 kişiye anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Bu anketlerin değerlendirilmesinde "SPSS 17.00 Statistics" programı kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, Karagül dizisinin, turistlerin Eski Halfeti yerleşmesini, gezme-görme isteğini arttırdığını göstermiştir. Ayrıca, burada yaşayan halkın, dizi turizminden olumlu yönde etkilendiği belirlenmiştir. Karagül dizisinden sonra artan turizm aktivitesinin yerel halk için ekonomik fırsatlar yarattığı tespit edilmiştir. This study examines the effects of the TV series tourism on Halfeti Region. It aims to find out whether Karagul series, which has been filmed in old Halfeti, has an impact on touristic perception regarding Halfeti or not. For this purpose, 136 tourist and 164 local people were surveyed in June, July and August 2015 in old Halfeti. SPSS 17.00 statistics software was used for the evaluation of this survey. The study has showed that Karagul series has increased tourists' desire to see old Halfeti settlement. It has been underlined that local people has positively been effected by the series tourism. It has further been found out that increased tourism activities after Karagul series created new economic opportunities for local people.
