Abstract:
Bu araştırma, farklı doz ve dönemlerde bor uygulamalarının pamuğun verim ve verim unsurlarına etkisini araştırmak amacıyla planlanmıştır. Çalışma, Harran Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Eyyübiye Kampüsü deneme alanında 2014 yılı yetiştirme sezonunda yürütülmüştür. Deneme tesadüf bloklarında bölünmüş parseller deneme deseninde 3 tekerrürlü, her parsel 4 sıralı, sıra arası 70 cm ve sıra üzeri mesafe 20 cm olacak şekilde 2 Mayıs 2014 tarihinde ekim yapılmıştır. Denemede St-468 çeşidi bitkki materyali olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; kütlü pamuk veriminin 4054.7 kg/ha ile 4988.1 kg/ha arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, en yüksek kütlü pamuk verimi, bitki başına koza sayısı, meyve dalı sayısı, Çiçeklenme Doruğu * 100 ml uygulamasından, en yüksek bitki boyu Çiçeklenme Doruğu * 200 ml/da uygulamasından, en uzun liflerin Taraklanma Başlangıcı * 200 ml uygulamasından elde edildiği; Bor uygulamaları ile odun dalı sayısı, lif kopma dayanıklılığı ve lif inceliğinin azaldığı; koza kütlü pamuk ağırlığı yönünden bir stabilitenin olmadığı; erkencilik oranı, çenet sayısı, çırçır randımanı, 100 tohum ağırlığı ve lif indeksi özellikleri üzerine istatistiki olarak önemli bir etkisinin olmadığı saptanmıştır.
This study was conducted to determine the effect of boron foliar application at different doses and different growth stages on the yield and yield components of cotton. The study was carried out at the trial site of Agricultural Faculty of Harran University in Eyyubiye Campus in 2014 growing season. Cultivar was sown on May 2, 2014 with the split plot experimental design with three replications. Stoneville 468 cotton variety was used as a plant material. Experimental plots were consisted of four rows with row spacing of 70 cm and intrarow spacing of 20 cm. As a result of this study; seed cotton yields were obtained vary between 4057 kg ha-1 – 4988.1 kg ha-1. Furthermore, the highest seed cotton yield, number of boll per plant and number of sympodia were obtained from the application of peak flowering * 100 ml, the highest plant height from the application of peak flowering * 200 ml and the highest fiber length from the application of first squaring * 200 ml. As the number of monopodia, fiber strength and fiber fineness decreased with the application of Boron, there was no stability in terms of seed cotton weight per boll and it was found no significant effect statistically on the properties of first harvest ratio, number of carpel, ginning outturn, seed index and fiber index.
