Abstract:
Bu çalışmada, farklı su emme kapasitesine sahip agregaların, kendiliğinden yerleşen betonun (KYB) taze ve sertleşmiş özelliklerine etkisi irdelenmiştir. Deney karışımlarının tümünde doğal nehir kumu ve çakıl olarak da bazalt, kalker (kireçtaşı) ve nehir çakılı kullanılmıştır. Her bir çakıl tipi için fırın kurusu ve ıslak nem durumunda olmak üzere toplamda 6 farklı karışım hazırlanmıştır. Tüm karışımlar, taze özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla, çökme-yayılma, T50 ve L kutusu testlerine tabi tutulmuştur. KYB karışımlarının sertleşmiş özelliklerinin (basınç, yarmada çekme ve rölatif ultrases hızı) belirlenmesi için 75x150 mm silindir numuneler 3, 28 ve 56. günlük kür sürelerine maruz bırakılmıştır. Ayrıca her iki nem durumu için üretilen KYB karışımlarının kılcal su emme testleri 56 günlük numuneler üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçta, KYB karışımlarına ait işlenebilirlik değerlerinin genelde EFNARC sınır değerlerini sağladığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca, nehir çakıllı KYB karışımları dışında FK nem durumuna sahip agregalarla üretilen numunelerin basınç dayanımlarının 28 ve 56 günlük kür süreleri için ISL nem durumuna sahip agregalarla üretilen numunelerinkinden daha büyük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, her iki nem durum için nehir çakıllı KYB karışımları genelde en düşük kılcal su emme katsayısına sahip iken, K-ISL numunelerine ait kılcal su emme katsayısının en yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur.
In this study, it was studied the effect of aggregates having different water absorption capacity on the fresh and hardened properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC). The river sand for all mixtures was used while it was used three type gravel (basalt, lime stone and natural river gravel) for each mix, separately. Six mixtures were prepared for each gravel type having oven dry and wet moisture conditions. Slump-flow, T50 and L-box tests were conducted to determine the fresh properties of all SCC mixes. 75x150 mm cylindirical specimens were exposed to standard water curing regimes for 3, 28 and 56 days to determine the hardened properties (compressive, tensile strength and ultrasound pulse velocity) of SCC mixes. Moreover, the capillary water absorption tests were carried out on 56 days specimens for two moisture conditions of aggregates. Finally, it was seen that the workability values of SCC mixes satisfied the limit conditions of EFNARC. Moreover, the test results indicated that the compressive strength of the specimens produced from aggregates having oven dry moisture were greater than that of the specimens produced from aggregates having wet moisture except for SCC mixtures with natural river gravel for 28 and 56 days. On the other hand, it was found that the capillary water absorption coefficient of K-ISL specimens was the highest while SCC specimens with natural river gravel had the lowest capillary water absorption coefficient for oven dry and wet moisture conditions.
