Abstract:
Bu çalışma ile Harran Ovası' nda 1994 yılında sulu tarıma geçilmeden önce 6 toprak serisinden alınan toprak örneklerinin ıslak eleme metodu ile bulunan agregat stabilitelerinin, sulu tarıma geçildikten sonra aynı serilerden alınan örneklerin nasıl bir değişikliğe uğradığına ilişkin bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Ova topraklarına ait 6 toprak serisinden toplam 36 adet toprak örneği alınarak laboratuar koşullarında bazı fiziksel ve kimyasal analizleri yapılmıştır. Islak eleme metodu ile her bir toprak örneğinin agregat stabilitesi formülize edilerek hesaplanmıştır. Yapılan bu analizler sonucunda ortaya çıkan agregat stabilitesi değerlerin, sulama öncesi yapılan çalışma sonucunda çıkan agregat stabilitesi değerlerine oranla daha düşük değerlere sahip olduğu gözlenmiştir. Akçakale, Cepkenli, Gürgelen, Harran, Kısas ve Sırrın toprak serilerine ait topraklarda sulama öncesinde en yüksek agregat stabilitesine sahip toprak serisi Sırrın serisi iken, sulama sonrası ise en yüksek agregat stabilitesine sahip toprak serisi Kısas serisi olarak belirlenmiştir. Sulama öncesi en düşük agregat stabilitesine sahip toprak serisi Cepkenli serisi olup, sulamadan sonra yapılan bu çalışma sonucunda da yine en düşük agregat stabilitesine sahip toprak serisinin Cepkenli serisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan bu çalışma ile toprak agregatlarında görülen azalmalar neticesinde Harran Ovası topraklarının sulu tarıma geçildikten sonra erozyona karşı dayanıklılıklarının da azaldığı görülmüştür.
