İlköğretim yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranışlarının öğretmen görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi / The views of teachers from primary schools, about their managers? ethic leadership behaviours

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ilköğretim yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranışlarıyla ilgili öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma ile ayrıca öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin öğretmenlerin ?cinsiyeti?, ?öğrenim durumu?, ?branşı?, ?okuldaki hizmet süresi?, ?mesleki hizmet süresi?, ?medeni durumu? gibi değişkenlerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırma betimsel- ilişkisel tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir ve üç ayrı bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Bunlardan ilki öğretmenlerin kişisel özelliklerine ilişkin bilgileri içeren ve 6 sorudan oluşan ?Kişisel Bilgi Formu? dur. İkinci form öğretmenlerin yöneticilerinin etik liderlik ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla, Yılmaz (2005) tarafından geliştirilen ?Etik Liderlik Ölçeği?dir. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Şanlıurfa ili merkezinde 58 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapmakta olan 4306 öğretmendir. Evrenin geniş olması ve tüm evrene ulaşım güçlüğü dikkate alınarak, örneklem alma yoluna gidilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi belirlenirken, ilköğretim okullarının bulundukları çevrenin sosyo- ekonomik düzeyi dikkate alınarak alt sosyo- ekonomik çevreden 8, orta sosyo- ekonomik çevreden 8 ve üst sosyo- ekonomik çevreden 5 okul olmak üzere toplam 23 okul örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Örneklem seçilen okullardaki öğretmenlerin seçimi örneklem yöntemine göre yapılmış ve 300 öğretmene anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin istatistiksel analizinde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, frekans, yüzde ve yüzde hesapları , t- testi and tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, öğretmenlerin yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranışlarıyla ilgili görüşlerinin ?çok katılıyorum? düzeyinde olduğunu göstermiştir. Öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranışlarıyla ilgili görüşlerinin cinsiyete, öğrenim durumuna, branşa, okuldaki hizmet süresine, mesleki hizmet süresine ve medeni durumuna göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği saptanmıştır. The aim of this research is to determine the views of teachers from primary schools, about their managers? ethic leadership behaviours. İn this research it was researched whether the views of teachers change differentiated according to their genders, educational levels, branches, school tenures, job tenures and civil statutes. The research is done by descriptive-correlation research model and three different information forms are used. The first of those forms is to called ?Personel Information Form? which consists from six questions covering personel characteristic information. The second one that was prepared to determine teachers? views about their managers? ethic leadership behaviours that was developed by Yılmaz (2005) is the ? Ethic Leadership Scale?. The working space of this research is 4306 teachers from 58 primary schools located in Merkez, City of Sanliurfa. The sample point was taken consideringly the hardly accession to the whole space points and the large space. For establishing the sample point the school location?s social- economic level was beard, and according to this, be about 8 schools from the low social-economic level, 8 schools from average social-economic level and 5 schools from high social-economic level, total 23 schools were chosen as Sample Point. The election of teachers in those sample point schools was done according to the random method and survey was applied to 300 teachers. In the statictic analyzes of this study data, arithmetic average, standard deviation, frequency and percentage estimations, the t ?test and one dimensional variation analyze were used. As result obtained by this study it is found out that the teachers? views about their managers? ethic leadership behaviours were ?strongly agree?. It is also found that according to the genders of the teachers, educational levels, branches, school tenures, job tenures and civil statutes are not referring to any differences in the teachers?views regarding their managers? ethic leadership behaviours.
