Abstract:
Çalışmamızda, dünyada kurulan şirketlerin büyük bir yüzdesini oluşturan ve Türkiye'deki aile işletmelerinin kayıtlı şirketler içindeki oranın yüksek düzeyinde olması, KOBİ'lerin çoğunluğunun bu sınıflandırma içerisinde olması gerçeği bu işletmelerin ülke ekonomisindeki önemini büyük ölçüde gözler önüne sermektedir. Dolayısıyla kuruldukları ülkelerin büyümesinde önemli bir rol oynayan KOBİ'lerin, diğer şirketler ile aralarındaki faklar, sahip oldukları avantaj ve dezavantajlar, gelişme ve büyüme göstererek daha uzun bir yaşam eğrisine sahip olmaları için neler yapılması gerektiği konuları incelenerek kurumsallaşmanın KOBİ'lere neler kazandıracağını tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. KOBİ'ler bir ekonomide rekabet ortamının gelişmesi ve ekonomik hayatın sağlıklı olarak işleyebilmesi için olmazsa olmaz kurumlardır. Yoğun rekabet ortamında firma varlığının sürdürülmesi ve olumlu firma imajına sahip olunmasında, pazar payının artarak büyümesi ve tüketici istek ve ihtiyaçlarının karşılanmasında en önemli araçlardan birinin kurumsallaşma olduğu da gerçektir. Bir ekonomiye kazandırmış oldukları dinamizm ile o ekonominin canlılığının barometresi olan KOBİ'ler açısından kurumsallaşmanın son derece önemli bir nitelik taşıdığı söylenebilir. Bu düşüncelerle, Şanlıurfa ili sınırlarında kurulu olan KOBİ'lerin kurumsallaşma durumunu değerlendirmeye çalışıldı. Araştırmamızda örneklemimizi oluşturan firmalar Şanlıurfa Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası'na kayıtlı olan şirketler arasından seçilmiştir. Bu noktadan hareketle araştırmamızda Şanlıurfa'da faaliyet gösteren KOBİ'lerin kurumsallaşma düzeylerinin belirlenmesi, kurumsallaşma sorunlarını, kurumsallaşma konusundaki tutumlarının ve düşüncelerinin belirlenmiş ve kurumlaşma sayesinde daha sistemli ve daha az sorunla karşı karşılaşacakları bir yapıya kavuşacakları söylenebilir.
In our study, since the fact that SMEs constitute a significant proportion of companies established all over the world and family owned entities in Turkey have a higher ratio among registered companies and the majority of SMEs stays within this classification, reveals the importance of such entities in the national economy, it is aimed to determine what the institutionalisation will bring in SMSs through examining the differences between SMEs, which are playing an important role in the growth of countries where they are established, and other companies, advantages and disadvantages they have, and what should be done for such entities to have a longer life curve by means of showing development and growth. SMEs are prerequisite establishments for the development of competition environment in an economy and for the operation of economic life in the healthy manner. Moreover, it is certain that one of the most important means to maintain company existence in a dense competition environment and to have a constructive company image, to expand market share increasingly and to satisfy consumers? demand and needs is institutionalisation. It can be said that the institutionalisation, the barometer of economic buoyancy with things it brings in an economy, has a significant qualification for SMEs. Based on these opinions, it was tried to assess corporate status of SMEs established within the boundaries of Sanliurfa City. In our study, companies, constituting our exemplification, were selected among those companies registered in Sanliurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. From this viewpoint, the subjects of institutionalisation levels of SMEs acting in Sanliurfa, institutionalisation issues, their approach to this subject and their opinions were determined and accordingly it can be said that they will react to a structure, enabling them to be more systematic and have lesser problems, through institutionalisation.
