Abstract:
Çağımız örgütlü toplum çağıdır. Tarım Ekonomisinde örgüt vazgeçilmez bir olgudur. Bu örgüt tipi ise kooperatifler ve kooperatif benzeri örgütlerdir. Kooperatifler ekonomik ve sosyal dayanışmanın ekonomideki en önemli unsurlarıdır. Kooperatifler gelişmiş ülkelerin yanı sıra gelişmekte olan ülkelerde de çok önemli yere sahiptir. Hatta kooperatifçilik, gelişmede hızlı ekonomik büyüme ile toplumsal ve sosyal adaleti ve de demokrasiyi bir arada gerçekleştirmeye en yararlı sektör olarak, bütün gelişmekte olan ülkeler için bir çıkış noktası olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bu durum ülkemiz ve GAP'ın önemli illerinden olan Şanlıurfa içinde aynen geçerlidir. Şanlıurfa'daki tarımsal sorunların çözümü ve tarımsal ekonominin gelişimi için kooperatifçilik önemli bir yere sahiptir.
