Banach cebirlerinde Wedderburn ayrışımı ve banach cebirlerinin bazı geometrik özellikleri / The Wedderburn decomposition of banach algebras and some geometric properties of banach algebras

Abstract

Bu çalışma altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde tezin amacı ve bu konunun seçilme gereksinimi anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölüm ise, tezin ilerleyen kısımlarında gerekli olan temel tanım ve teoremlere yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm ise Banach cebirlerinin Wedderburn ayrışımına ayrılmıştır. Bu bölümde ayrışım, Banach cebirleri ve Grup Banach cebirleri olarak ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölüm ise Banach cebirlerinin geometrik özellikleriyle ilgilidir. Bu özellikler, Banach cebirinin kompleks ve reel olması durumları ayrı ayrı ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Beşinci bölüm ise bir Banach uzayı için birim yuvarın sahip olduğu bazı geometrik özelliklerin incelenmesine ayrılmıştır. Altıncı bölüm ise tezin sonuçları ve önerilerine ayrılmıştır. This thesis is composed of six parts. The first part explains the goal of the thesis and the reason for the choice of this topic. The second part mentions about basic definitions and theorems which are necessary for the following parts. In the third part, Wedderburn decomposition of Banach algebras is defined. In this part, the decomposition is explained as Banach algebras and Group Banach algebras seperately. When the subject comes to fourth part, it is related to the geometric properties of Banach algebras. These properties are analysed by explaining the circumstances of Banach algebras? being complex and real one by one. The fifth part is devoted to study some geometric properties which the unit ball has for a Banach space, and the sixth part gives information about the results of the thesis and the suggestions.
