Abstract

ÖZET "Birecik'te dinû hayat" isimli bu araştırmada Birecik ilçe merkezinde yaşayan toplumun dinû inanç, ibadet, tutum ve davranışlarının belirlenmesi, dinû hayata yönelik tutumların çeşitli faktörlere göre nasıl bir farklılaşma gösterdiğinin tespit edilmesi, dinû hayatın sosyal sistem içindeki yeri ve öneminin ortaya çıkarılması konu edinilmiştir. Araştırmamız, girişle birlikte üç bölüm ve sonuçtan meydana gelmektedir. Giriş bölümünde araştırmamızın konusu ve amacı, yöntem ve teknikleri, evren ve sınırlılıkları, son olarak varsayımları ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde; Din-toplum ilişkileri ile ilgili teorik ve kavramsal bilgiler verilmektedir. kinci bölümde; Birecik'in tarihi, coğrafûk, ekonomik ve demografik yapısı ile ilgili bilgiler sunulurken, üçüncü bölümde de; araştırma bölgemizdeki dinû yaşayış ile ilgili bulgular üzerinde durulmakta ve bu bulgular ile ilgili yorumlar yapılmaktadır. Sonuç kısmında da, araştırma bulgularının genel bir değerlendirilmesi yapılarak varsayımlar test edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmada Birecik ilçe merkezinde yaşayan toplumun dinû inanç, ibadet, tutum ve davranışlarının belirlenmesi için yapmış olduğumuz anket verilerine, gözlem ve mülâkat sonucunda; Birecik halkının sosyo-kültürel yaşamında geleneksel dinû anlayışlar, inanışlar ve kabuller etkin olmakla birlikte, yaşanan değişmelerden etkilendikleri görülmüştür. ABSTRACT The Title: ?The Religious Life in Birecik? In this study, the religious life and attitude of the people of Birecik is delay with. Relying on the findings of the questioner carried out in the town, to what extend various factors have on effect the religious beliefs and attitudes of the people there. The role of religion in the social life is also examined. Our study comprises of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction, on the one hand, the topic, the objective, the limit and the method of our study is explained; and on the other, the hypothesis is put forward. In the first chapter, the relationship between religion and society and relevant theoretical and conceptual issues are analyzed. In the chapter, the history of Birecik, its demographic, economic and geographic characteristics are given. In the third chapter, the findings relevant to the subject of our study is analyzed and commented on. In the Conclusion, the findings are assessed and the hypothesis are tested and criticized. From the questioner, observation and other researches we reached the conclusion that the people of Birecik, although they retain their traditional and religious values to some extend, they are influenced by the current changes in daily life.
