Abstract

Dr. Hasan AKAN Prof. Dr. Mehmet KOYUNCU Yıl: 2005, Sayfa: 117 Bu araştırma, 2001-2004 yıllan arasında Şanlıurfa ilinin geofit florasını tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma alanı olan Şanlıurfa il sınırlan Türkiye'nin Grid sistemine göre C6, C7 ve C8 karelerine girmektedir. Araştırma bölgesinden toplanan 789 bitki örneğinden 13 familyaya ait 29 cins ve 102 takson tespit edilmiştir. Bunlardan 11 takson Türkiye için endemik olup, 25 takson C6, C7 ve C8 kareleri için yenidir. Araştırma alanından toplanan bitki örneklerinin hangi floristik bölge elementi oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Bitkilerin fitocoğrafik bölgelere dağılımlarında %46.46 oranı ile Iran-Turan elementleri ilk sırayı almaktadır. Akdeniz elementleri %26.26 ve Avrupa-Sibirya elementleri ise %1.01 şeklindedir. Teşhisi yapılan taksonlann %26.26' sının ise hangi fitocoğrafik bölge elementi olduğu bilinmemektedir. Araştırma alanından toplanan bitkilerin %86.87'si monokotil, %13.13'ü ise dikotildir. Araştırma alanında en fazla taksona sahip familyalar; Liliaceae (58) ve Iridaceae (14) familyalandır. Alanda en çok türe sahip cinsler; Allium (17), Ornithogahım (10), Gagea (9), Bellevalia (6) ve iris (6) cinsleridir. Araştırma alanından toplanan bitkilerin %60.7'si soğanlı (bulb), %21.5'i yumrulu (tuber), %13.7'si kormlu (corm) ve %3.9'u rizomludur. Dikotil olanların tamamı yumruludur. Bitkilerin mevsimsel çiçeklenme periyoduna bakıldığında, çiçeklenmenin özellikle ilkbahar aylarında yoğunlaştığı (Mart, Nisan, Mayıs) görülmektedir. Bitkilerin % 94.2'si erken ilkbahar ve ilkbahar döneminde çiçeklenirken, % 5.8'i sonbahar aylarında çiçeklenir. ANAHTAR KELİMELER: Geofit, Şanlıurfa, Flora, Türkiye. Prof. Dr. Hasan AKAN Prof. Dr. Mehmet KOYUNCU Year: 2005, Page:117 This investigation was carried out between 2001 and 2004 in order to determine the geophyte flora of Şanlıurfa. Şanlıurfa is a research area which is located within C6, C7 and C8 of the Grid system in Turkey. In the investigation area, 789 plant specimens were collected which consist of 102 taxa belonging to 13 families and 29 genera. Of all the collected specimens, 25 taxa are new records for C6, C7 and C8 squares, 1 1 taxa are endemic for Turkey. The distribution of the species according to the floristic regions, Irano-Turanian elements with the rate of 46.46% has been proceeding. Mediterranean elements with the rate of 26.26% and the Euro-Siberian elements with the rate of 1.01% has been found. The 26.26% of taxa are unknown phytogeographic region. The 86.87% of geophyte taxa in the area is monocotyledones and the 13.13% of them is dicoryledones. The families which have the most taxa in research area are Liliaceae (58) and Iridaceae (14). Concerning the number of species the major genera in this region are as follow: Allium (17), Ornithogalum (10), Gagea (9), Bellevalia (6) and Iris (6). Of all collected taxa, 60.7% are bulbous, 21.5% are tuberous, 13.13% are cormous, and 3.9% are rhizomous. On the other hand, all the dicotyledones are tuberous. Regarding the flowering time, it is determined that the flowering period has been preceeding in spring months (March, April, May). The 94.2% of plant species has flowering time in early Spring and Spring while 5.8% plant species has flowering time in monts of Autumn. KEY WORDS: Geophyte, Şanlıurfa, Flora, Turkey. u
