Özet: Soil salinity and sodcity are affected of 932 million hectares worldwide, while approximately 1.5 million hectares affects for Türkiye. Salt affected and sodic areas contain different options to complement soil chemistry, carbon and supply, and organic matter decomposition. soil organic carbon (SOC) pool is the largest terrestrial carbon pool. It is a measure of soil organic carbon level. Salines and sodics affect soil microbial biomass and microbial and on the journey of CO2 outputs. Sodic soils increase the dispersion of aggregates, producing soil organic carbon, which causes soil organic carbon mineralization. The carbon stock and emission of saline soils with different characteristics in Turkey compared to normal soils. In general, carbonbial activity and CO2 output are also different in general (alkaline) and saline soils on the surface in general compared to normal soils in general. Due to the CO2 value, which is the most effective globally, its stock in the soils and CO2 representation from salinity are exemplary. In the research, the relationship between the organic matter mineralization rate and carbon stock in the soils taken from the Saline-Alkaline areas in the Harran Plain was investigated. In order to determine the biological properties of soils; dehydrogenase and catalase enzyme activities, in order to determine their chemical properties; lime (%), organic matter (%), pH, EC, volume weight as physical properties, clay, silt, and sand (%) were determined. The organic carbon stock of the soil samples taken from the Harran Plain was found to be tons/ha in 3 different salt intensity soil samples, including unsalted, salty and salty-alkaline soil. According to the results of the study, SOC stock was determined as unsalted>salty>saline-alkaline at a depth of 0-20 cm.
