Harran Ovası'nda kullanılan pestisitlerin çevresel açıdan değerlendirilmesi / The pesticides used in the national perspective environmental open evaluation

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; Şanlıurfa ili, Harran Ovası'nda tarım üretiminde yabancı otlara karşı uygulanan pestisit kullanımının insan sağlığı ve çevre sağlığı üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Harran Ovası'nda tarımsal üretim yapan 50 çiftçi ve bölgede faaliyet gösteren 26 ilaç bayi ile soru cevap şeklinde ve karşılıklı diyaloglar ile elde edilen bilgileri kapsayan bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda tarımsal üretim yapan çiftçilerin pestisit kullanımı konusunda yeterli eğitim ve bilinçte olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Çiftçilerin pestisit uygulamalarında atadan kalma bilgi ve tecrübeleri ile hareket ederek, profesyonel bir yöntem uygulamaktan kaçınarak çevre üzerinde ve birçok canlı popülasyonuna zarar verdiğinin farkında değiller. Genelde çiftçilerin pestisit uygulaması sırasında karşılaşılacak herhangi bir olumsuz durumda alınması gereken koruyucu önlemleri pek fazla ciddiye almadıkları görülmüştür. Ayrıca bölge insanının teknik teşkilat ile yeterince iş birliği içinde olmaması ve teknik teşkilatında çiftçiler ile gerektiği kadar alakadar olmaması tarımsal üretim konusunda çiftçilerin yalnız kalması ve bunun sonucu olarak da yanlış pestisit kullanım şekli ve yüksek dozların kullanımına neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile Harran Ovası'nda tarımsal üretimde pestisit kullanımının olumsuz sonuçları ve bu sonuçların olumsuz etkileri saptanmış ve çözüm önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. The purpose of this study is to determine the negative effects of the use of pesticides applied against foreign and harmful herbs in agricultural production in Harran Plain in Şanlıurfa province on human health and environmental health. In line with this aim, a study has been carried out with 50 farmers producing agricultural produce in Harran Plain and 26 drug dealers operating in the region, covering the questionnaire and the information obtained through mutual dialogue. According to the conclusions reached at the end of the study, the untrained and unconscious behavior of agricultural farmers on pesticide use was clearly demonstrated by the study. They are not even aware that a professional method is practically avoiding harming the environment and many living populations by acting with the knowledge and experience of the peasants in their pesticide applications. In addition, farmers have shown that they do not take much seriously the protective measures to be taken against any adverse consequences encountered during pesticide application. In addition, the fact that the people of the region are not in sufficient business cooperation with the technical organization and that the technical organization is not as relevant as the farmers are concerned causes the farmers to be left alone in the agricultural production, and as a result the wrong pesticide usage and high doses are used. As a result of this study, the negative results of pesticide use and the negative effects of these results in Harran Plain have been determined and suggested solutions.
