İbn Ebû Dâvud'un hayatı, eserleri ve hadis ilmindeki yeri / The life and works of İbn Abu Dawud and his place in the science of hadith

Abstract

Bu çalışma, III/IX. asrın meşhur hadis âlimlerinden İbn Ebû Dâvud'un hayatı ve hadis ilmindeki yerini ele almaktadır. Bu şahsın eserlerinin incelenerek tanıtılması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çalışma, İbn Ebû Dâvud'un rivayet ilimlerinde önemli orijinal eserler telif ettiğini göstermiştir. İslam inanç esaslarını manzum bir tarz ile ele aldığı, hiçbir hadis kitabında yer almayan rivayetleri günümüze intikal ettirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Kıraat ıstılahlarına ve kıraat usülüne yeni izahlar getirdiği, Kur'ân mushafları arasındaki farklılığı ele aldığı, kur'ân'da lahn konusunu incelediği belirlenmiştir. This research examines the life, works and place of Ibn Abu Dawud in the science of hadith, which is one of the eminent hadith scholars of the III/IX. century. It aims to introduce his works. This research has revealed that he wrote original books on the science of narration and that he composed tenets of Islam in poetic style and transmitted hadiths that could not be found in any other hadith books. It has further indicated that he provided new explanations to the terminology and methodology of qira'at (reciting of Quran), dealt with the differences between Mushafs (Written Qur'an), and analyzed the issue of 'lahn (mispronunciation)' in the Qur'an.
