Bir yaşındaki bebeklerin persentil eğrileri ve etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi / Percentile curves of one year old baby and examination of the factors affecting

Abstract

Bu araştırma; bir yaşındaki bebeklerin persentil eğrileri ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan anket formu; 15 Ekim-15 Aralık 2012 tarihleri arasında Şanlıurfa İl merkezine bağlı Ticaret Borsası ASM, Balıklıgöl ASM ve Onikiler ASM'nden hizmet alan 285 bebeğin annesine uygulanmıştır. Bebeklerin doğum ağırlığı ve doğum boyları, ASM'lerindeki kayıtlardan öğrenilmiş, Bebeklerin araştırmayla ilgili antropometrik ölçümleri araştırmacı tarafından alınmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilirken istatistiksel analizler için SPSS 11.5 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise frekans, yüzde ve Ki-Kare testi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar % 95 güven aralığında, p<0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda bebeklerin persentil eğrilerini etkileyen aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: * Annenin eğitim durumu, ailenin gelir düzeyi, ve aile tipinin bebeğin kilo persentiline etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. * Yüksek eğitim düzeyinde bulunan babaların bebeklerinin boy persentilleri daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. * Bebeğin cinsiyetinin baş çevresi persentiline etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. *Bebeğin cinsiyeti ve hastanede yatma durumunun kilo persentiline etkisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmada ele alınan diğer değişkenlerin bebeklerin persentil eğrileri üzerinde etkilerinin olmadığı sonuçlarına varılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Büyüme, Gelişme, Persentil Eğrisi, Hemşire. The aim of this work is to define and analyze the factors that affect the percentile curves of one year old babies. Questionnaire forms are prepared for this aim and are applied to 285 baby mothers who get service from Balıklıgöl Family Healthcare Center (FHC) and Onikiler FHC in Ticaret Borsası FHC in Şanlıurfa between the dates October 15, 2012 and December 15, 2012. Birth weights and heights are acquired from the health records of the FHCs and anthropometric measurements of the babies related to the research are manually taken by the researcher. The data obtained in this study descriptive statistical methods (frequency, percentage) were used. Qualitative data for the comparison of Pearson's Chi-square test and Fisher's exact test was used. Results within 95%, p <0.05 significance level were evaluated. The results of this study indicate the following significant relations between the percentile curves and the factors. • Education level of mother, family income and family types have significant effect on the weight percentile of the babies. • There is a positive correlation between the fathers education level and babies height percentile. • There is a significant relation between the gender and head circumference percentile. • Gender and hospitalization level of babies have significant effects on the weight percentile. According to the results of this study all other relations are insignificant and other variables have no significant effect on the percentile curves of the babies.
