Abstract

ZYGMUNT BAUMAN'IN "BİREYSELLEŞMİŞ TOPLUM" KAVRAMSALLAŞTIRMASI IŞIĞINDA BİREYSELLEŞMİŞ DİN VE DİNDARLIK ÖZET Bu araştırma, modernizm, postmodernizm, bireyselleşme ve din bağlamında Zygmunt Bauman'ın görüşlerini sosyolojik açıdan incelemektedir. Modernizm, postmodernizm, bireyselleşme ve dinin insan hayatında ve toplumsal yapıda oluşturduğu etkileri sosyolojik açıdan ele alarak Zygmunt Bauman'ın bu konudaki fikirlerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, Bauman'ın, bireyselleşme kavramının aile, siyaset, ekonomi, ahlak kurumlarında olduğu gibi din kurumu üzerinde de ciddi bir etkisinin olduğu düşüncesine sahip olduğunu göstermiştir. Çağımızda geleneğin çözülerek dönüştüğü, bireyselleşmenin etkin olduğu yeni dindarlık tipolojilerinin öne çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. Postmodern süreçle birlikte geleneksel dindarlıktan farklı olarak, bireysel tercih ve seçimlerin hâkim olduğu bir dindarlık anlayışının ortaya çıktığı görülmüştür. It aims to discover, in light of the sociological perspective, the effects of modernism, postmodernism, individualization, and religion in the human life and to identify the opinions of Zygmunt Bauman in this field. This research has shown that he has the opinion that the concept of individualization has serious effects on family, politics, economics, and morality as well as on religious institutions. It has been found out that in the contemporary period, the new typologies of religiousness in which individualization is effective has emerged and that the tradition has been transformed and dismantled. It has been observed that unlike the traditional religiousness, an understanding of religiousness in which individual preferences and choices are prevalent has appeared in the postmodern era.
