Sünen-i Tirmizî'de hadis ıstılahları ve Tirmizî'nin hadisleri değerlendirme usûlü / Hadith terminology in Sunan of Tirmidhi and his methodology of hadith evaluation

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Tirmizî'nin Sünen'inde kullandığı hadis ıstılahları ve takip ettiği metot incelenmektedir. Tirmizî'nin kullandığı ıstılahların anlamlarının ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmamız, bilgilendirici açıklamaların hadislerin daha iyi anlaşılması için önemli olduğunu göstermiştir. Tirmizî'nin hadislerin sıhhat durumunu belirten hasen, hasen sahîh, hasen sahîh garîb gibi ıstılahlar kullandığı ve bu ıstılahlara yeni manalar yüklediği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca şâz hadis için "ğayr-i mahfûz" terimini kullandığı ve bazen mürsel terimini munkatı' terimi anlamında kullandığı belirlenmiştir. Cerh-ta'dil terimlerini kullanarak da ravîlerin durumu hakkında bilgi verdiği tespit edilmiştir. It aims to find out the meanings of the technical terms used by Tirmidhi. The research has revealed that in order to better understand the hadiths it is important to give explanations to the hadiths. It has further indicated that in order to clarify authenticity of the hadiths, Tirmidhi uses the terms such as 'hasan,' 'hasan sahih,' and 'hasan sahih gharib' with new meanings. In addition, he employs the term 'ghayr-u mahfuz' for the 'shaz' hadith and he sometimes uses the 'mursal' in the meaning of 'munqati'. Furthermore, it has underlined that he gives information about the narrators (al-rāwī) with the terms 'jarh and ta'dīl'. Key Words: Tirmidhi, Sunan, Hadith, Methodology, Terminology
