Abstract

Bu çalışma, Kant'ın ontolojik delile getirdiği eleştirileri, M. Hamdi Yazır'ın yorum ve düşünceleri ile incelemeyi hedeflemiştir. Bu bağlamda, ontolojik delile getirilen eleştirilere, Yazır'ın yeni bir bakış açısı sunup sunmadığı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, Batı ile İslam filozoflarının ontolojik delile yaklaşımının farklı olduğunu göstermiştir. Batı'nın ontolojik deliline getirilen eleştirilerin İslam felsefesindeki ontolojik delile yöneltilemeyeceği belirlenmiştir. Ontolojik delile Yazır'ın yaklaşımının ise İslam felsefesindeki Tanrı anlayışı ile uyumlu olduğu ve yeni bir bakış açısı getirmediği tespit edilmiştir. This thesis examines criticisms of ontological argument directed by Kant in the light of Hamdi Yazır's approach. It aims to find out whether Yazır has a new approach to these criticisms. The study has indicated that the approach of the western and the Muslim philosophers to the ontological argument is totally different. It has been underlined that the criticisms directed to the ontological arguments of the western scholars cannot be directed to those of Muslim scholars. It has been found out that the approach of Yazır to the ontological argument is in parallel with the concept of God in Islamic philosophy and that he has no new arguments.
