Abstract

Şemseddin Muhammed b. Abdirrahman es-Sehâvî'nin (v.902/1496) hayatı, eserleri ve tarih savunmasına dair el-İ'lan bi't-Tevbih limen Zemme't-Tarih adlı eseri konulu çalışmamız, giriş ve iki bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Çalışmamızda öncelikle içindekiler kısmı yer almakta daha sonra çalışma süresince kullanılmış kısaltmaların açıklandığı sayfa bulunmakta ve müteakiben bir önsöz yer almaktadır. Daha sonra giriş ve bölümler yer almakta, en sonda ise sonuç yazısı ve kaynakça yer almaktadır. Giriş kısmında, Sehâvî'nin yaşadığı dönemde siyasi ve kültürel çevre, kendisine intikal eden tarih anlayışı, Sehâvî'nin hayatı, eserlerinin listesi ve el-İ'lan bi't-tevbih limen zemme't-tarih'in benzer eserlerle mukayesesi ele alındı. Birinci bölümde, Sehâvî'nin tarih usulü ile ilgili görüşleri incelenmeye çalışıldı ve tarihi eleştirenlere verdiği cevaplar ele alındı. İkinci bölümde ise Sehâvî'nin tarih meseleleri ve kaynakları ile ilgili tespitleri ele alındı. Kaynakça kısmında çalışma boyunca istifade edilen kaynaklar, müellifleri, varsa neşredenleri, neşir yerleri ve tarihleri belirtmek suretiyle zikredilmiştir. Primarily, the contents of this study are located after the page which is introduces the abbreviations used throughout the study. Subsequently there are a preface, introduction and chapters. At the end of the thesis a conclusion and bibliography are presented. In the introduction; political and cultural environment in the time of al-Sakhawi; conception of history that gets to him; al-Sakhawis life and comparison's his work el-İ-lan bi-t-tevbih limen zemme-t-tarih with similar works, were discussed. In the first chapter; al-Sakhawi's opinions about history methods were analyzed and his answers to people whom critices history were discussed. In the second chapter; al-Sakhawi-s determinations about issue and sources of history were discussed. Bibliography section, which are benefit from the resources authors, publishers, if any, release locations, release dates, is described during the study.
